All of them.. LOL.. but AB doesn't remind me of Hines in any way.

These 1st rounders sign for 5 years I believe.. 2nd rounders for 4.. AB would be closing in on 30 by then. Also, again it's just my opinion but I think we over paid AB when Wallace's offer was rejected. With the attitude that I've seen from him lately I'd be surprised if we get another contract out of him. Rosters are constantly evolving and IMO you have to stay ahead of the curve.

They sign four year contracts, but the team has a fifth year option.

AB proved last year that he is an X receiver. No ands, ifs, or buts.

Too many big drops/non-catches for me. Too much smiling after those drops too. JMO

Let's not be hard on him for smiling after drops. Pretty sure Hines made a career of that.

As for overpaying AB, I think we did, but it was a calculated risk that seems to be paying off. It always seemed like that contract was a bit of a "F U" to Mike Wallace for not accepting it.

I could be wrong, am a lot, but when I think of Hines smiling it was usually when he made a big block or took a big hit and held onto the ball.

I agree the AB contract was a bit of an emotional response to Wallace rejecting the offer.

I just have differing opinions on AB and that's ok.. I don't see him as a true #1, he's just our #1 IMO

Brandon Marshall, A.J. Green, Vincent Jackson, Pierre Garcon,Calvin Johnson, Josh Gordon, and Demaryius Thomas all had more drops than AB. Just sayin'.

And I'd trade AB straight up for Marshall, Green, Megatron, Thomas or Gordon.. You wouldn't TTF?

Johnson definitely, Green maybe but other then that, I'd take Brown. Have to disagree with you on this one, numbah, I think AB's production last season was worthy of the contract he got. If he can keep that up, I think it was a great deal.

Also, about Hines, I have a hard time thinking of when I didn't see a big smile on his face.

They drafted Santonio Holmes and Plaxico Burress in round 1 so they haven't sucked at getting WR high in the draft. If you draft a WR in round 1 this year, then you still have the rest of the draft to fix the defense.

Isn't it funny, how we all wish we had somebody
else. Me included sometimes. Until you
see it in black and white (Thank you TTF)
I personaly love AB and the passion he brings to the table. I just wish he was more humble.

yea that's not a stretch, I'm wrong every year about our pick. other teams seem to get my guys in the first that you guys say are 2nd rounders. same with my power ball picks. it all changes this year though, right? just like my 13-3 prediction every year. some day. LOL :lolol::facepalm::cool:

Just out of curiosity, who did you think they would pick last year? Was it Elam? I don't think too many got last year right, did anyone see JJ falling to us???

And I'm sure your power ball picks are somehow intertwined with Steelers records, SB victories, division titles, am I right am I right??

Here is a top WR to take in the draft one scouting report sees it this way in the first round: Pittsburgh Steelers: Marqise Lee, WR, USC The Steelers will never pass up the opportunity to grab a great offensive play-maker if one is available to them. This draft class is top-heavy at receiver, so Pittsburgh can go with the best player available, and that would be Marqise Lee. The team lost its deep threat this past offseason when the overrated Mike Wallace took the money and ran to Miami. The Steelers are definitely interested in bringing in a new top wideout. (although I think Lee will be drafted before we pick at 15)
