He is an aggressive run defender with the tackling skills and power to dislodge the football, ranking second in the FBS last season with five forced fumbles. Davis, who was listed as a safety at the Senior Bowl, has some 'tweener traits as an athlete, so his performance in pre-draft drills will give teams a better idea of his best position in the NFL.

 

Yep more of a SS can play in the box and help in run support . He looks bad with angles as a deep Safety.He seems a step slow jumping on routes .He looks a lot like Shamarko to me . Maybe the Steelers had a plan for him and it just never came together ? The more tape I can find the more and more those 2 look like twins ..Hopefully this twin will do a lot better ..

 

Shamarko has all the tools he just doesn't have it upstairs. He has to think too much so hopefully it comes more naturally for Davis.
