I'm glad they released him that signing him to the practice squad made no sense, bring back Roc Taylor :hehehe:.

    Does this even make sense

Any team who wanted to sign him to the 53 could have claimed him off waivers

Any team now could have signed him off our practice squad to their 53

    Nobody did

What makes him think anyone wants him

Robert Woods has made $77.3 million in his NFL career.

Maybe he wants to go back home and doesn't want to get out of bed for only $17,500 per week in PS money.

Probably more like 22K per week.

    2025 Practice Squad Pay Breakdown
    • Two or Fewer Accrued Seasons: Minimum of $13,000 per week.
    • More Than Two Accrued Seasons: Minimum of $17,500 to a maximum of $22,000 per week.

Well, I don't think any team will sign him to their 53.

He will just be one of those players that get "Signed off the Couch" in the middle of the season.

Although 22k a week is a lot once he has earned $77M maybe he knows he’s at the end of his career

And if he sits at home and a team has injury mid season he will make up for any lost money

    Just a thought
