We need a healthy Ben for the whole season
    Re-sign Dupree
A healthy Tuitt for the entire season, also a healthy Conner would be nice
The defense needs to paly similar to the way they did in 2019
A bounce back season for JuJu
They will need production from 2-3 rookies in 2020, like they got in 2019
    An improved running game
The OL needs to regain their form, after a bad 2019 season
The continued progression of Bush, Johnson, and Washington

    New Head Coach
New Offensive Coordinator (Munchak would be great)
    New Defensive Coordinator
Paxton Lynch pulls a "Ryan Tannehill".... or things start to finally "click" for Rudolph
Ola Adeniyi picks up where Bud left off

Sorry, but I think Ben will be a shell of his former self at QB (like Rivers this year). I hope he's not done, but I sure as hell ain't getting my hopes up.

I think what you’ve laid out is a path to the Super Bowl, not just the playoffs. A healthy Ben, plus just a few of the other things you’ve listed makes us at least a wild card favorite.

Definitely a concern re Ben, even leaving the injury aside the other members of his famed draft class are in steep decline. Age gets everyone in the end.

Even if Ben is just ‘good enough’ to not be a liability, and they stay relatively injury free I think the Steelers can be playoff contenders.

rivers looked like crap the last couple of years. Eli has been shot for a while. 2018 Ben set Steelers records for passing.

Not all qbs are shot at his age. If he takes after breeze and starts throwing the shorter, quicker routes, he could still have three, four, five outstanding years.

I’ll wait to see how he comes back before I buy my tickets to the Super Bowl or burn my jerseys.

    1) Better and more consistent QB play. 2)Less turnovers on offense. 3)Vet backup QB and address the RB position. The Steelers could be in the same position if number 1 remains the same as this year.

The defense probably won't be as good and generate as many turnovers next year as they did this year.

Ben has to get in early and learn these new receivers and players.

You can't magically add youth to our aging players.

As long as you're not asking too much!

And like @Steel_Elvis said, if what you stated were to come true, we'd have to mess things up NOT to get to the big dance.

Yeah, Ben needs to protect the ball and does not have to sling it all the time now that we have a defense.

I think a healthy Ben(which is a must) will also help Juju, I also feel it will help the other WR's as well. Like I have said before I am one of the few that likes this group of WR's.

If we sign Bud then bye bye digger so yeah a healthy Tuitt will be a must. This is why I have been so against signing Bud long term.

The oline gets better and I think we will see our RB's getting better to. A healthy Conner would be nice, I like Snell and Whyte has shown some good stuff.

When you look at these posts it all starts with health, so I am gonna say we ad a few extra trainers. I have no clue if that will help but without health we are gonna repete this year all over again.

Yeah the defense probably won't match the number of turnovers they got in 2019, but if they can get in the high 20's or low 30's then that would be good.

Man don't come in my thread with that same crap about the HC, there's plenty of other threads for that garbage.

Me and you can debate about Tomlin until Armageddon happens. That said, I believe this part is true. As much as I want Ben to come back 100%, there is no guarantee he will be able to throw as well as he once did.

Hopefully Randy and/or Matt Symmes can catch Matt Canada up to speed on the basics, fundementals and principles of NFL Gameplanning. Yes, there is an entire offseason to this but there is often so much going on within that period of time as well. Matt would likely be the most likely candidate to do that but I am not ruling Randy out.

I actually like Tomlin, but I don't think the Steelers will win another Super Bowl with him as HC. Things are stagnant now with the Steelers. The D has new life, but some of our best players are long in the tooth....Haden and Heyward for example. The entire offense is one huge question mark. The 2 year future is bleak...and in my opinion, QB is gonna be one of the least of our worries.
