Injuries happen, but would be interesting to see a % of the XFL/USFL guys compared to the rest of the camps regular players. Especially if those guys were in an NFL roster/ps last year. So much talk about the body needing time to recover, and I say this because the owners are so intent on expanding the season and playoffs, plus expanding into Europe, thus more travel and less recovery time. In the end it will mean nothing, but they are really stretching the bodily limits.

Wonder if they will expand the roster to accomplish this as well.

That is the quagmire the owners and union find themsleves in, the owners do not want to budge from the % they pay the union now, the union does not want to further dilute the CAP spread. Even the small amount of expanding the PS has to fit under the CAP. The different discussions on separating QB salaries, or RB salaries all come back to the CAP stays the same, so it does not matter. They could find ways to extend contracts and perhaps write off certain % of QB's etc, but in the end the owners are billionaires for a reason, lol

Do you think Khan will be a Buyer or Seller at Cutdown day.

After Cutdown day will he have more or less 6th and 7th round picks in the 2024 draft? Assuming teams try to trade players they were going to cut anyway for a late round pick. The open week at the end will give the teams a full extra week to make trades, before having to get down to their 53-man roster.

it is to much to think about, unless injuries have taken players out you really are not going to find much. Wait until the cuts and you can find players of pretty much equal value to fill PS and lower tier back up roles. The last couple of years they have felt like they had to make some of those trades to fill starter roles and it really has not worked out well. They signed a boatload of guys this off season, and a couple of them may be on the bubble. Unless we see guys put on the long term injured list, I do not think trades are on the table.
