I will believe it until I die or I am proven wrong....whichever comes first.

When you have a horrible owner, not much else matters.

No they can’t clinch a playoff berth next week I don’t believe. Probably on Thanksgiving if they can get to 11-0.

The Jags stink they have lost 8 in a row for a reason and have lost to some bad teams during that losing streak. I find it hard to believe they are all of a sudden going to Snap an 8 game losing streak With a guy named Luton playing QB and are going to beat a team that has won every game so far this season and is head and shoulders better then them across the board.

We'll see. I remember Steelers playing some awful Raiders teams and ending up on the short end of the scoreboard.

    Bills 7-3
    Dolphins 6-3
    Steelers 9-0
    Ravens 6-3
    Browns 6-3
    Colts 6-3
    Titans 6-3
    Chiefs 8-1
    Raiders 6-3

Still a long way to go but, one of these teams could be the "odd man out" and if Baltimore keeps stumbling around, it could be them. Point being, even during his MVP performance last season, we wondered aloud how Baltimore could sustain their offense with a brutal running attack and a mediocre, at best passing game. Plus, their defense has been less than stellar at critical times this season. And they are getting hit hard with injuries just in time for the stretch drive. I'm not ready to throw dirt on them just yet, but they are in trouble.

I hear ya there but this seems like a different team this year. This team has found ways to win close games and games where they have not played well all season so far. Much like I said for the Bengals game it would take a complete and total meltdown of epic proportions for the Steelers to lose this game in Jacksonville on Sunday

Truth! I have zero doubt they make the playoffs but we REALLY need the No. 1 seed since the Titans screwed us out of a reasonable bye. My guess is the Steelers start resting guys here and there if they wrap up the division in the next month.

They are not gonna be able to rest guys because that team called the Kansas City Chiefs with that Mahomes guy are gonna keep on winning and continue to make the Steelers win every single week if they ultimately wanna be the top overall seed and get that lone bye week this season and clinch homefield advantage.

If they win the next 3 then it'll be mathematically impossible for the ravens to win the division but we'd also need a browns loss to clinch.

Watched the Jags against the Packers. That QB Luton your talking looks and plays a lot like the QB from the Dallas. Without Rodgers doing his magic the packers loose easily. The Jags running game is stout and they controlled the game that way.

It may not be as big of an issue if the Steelers win the division. It's up to Tomlin at that point.

Well they still lost and have lost 8 in a row and there is a reason for that it just doesn’t happen by accident and that reason is they just aren’t a very good team. Playing a team tough and losing doesn’t equal wins. The Jags have lost to a lot of bad teams during this 8 game losing streak. They lost twice to Houston which are the Texans only two wins this season, the Bengals, Lions, and Chargers. So anything less then a complete and total meltdown this week by the Steelers is the only remote chance I give the Jags of winning this game.

Not to be Debbie Downer but this game has trap game symptoms. Heavily favored away game with the ravens coming next. If Tomlin is able to keep the team focused on the jags it should be another blowout, but keeping focused isn't easy.

There are 9 teams in the AFC that are 6-3 or better. The Steelers need to just continue to play well and stay healthy. No matter what the record ends up, I will be concerned about the playoffs because the Steelers still have flaws.

I hate the idea of clinching the division early. And I don't like the idea of Tomlin coaching a team after a bye week. And yes, I am living in @HeinzMustard@HeinzMustard fears.

Dallas was a trap game. Cincinati was a trap game. Cleveland was a trap game. Every game we've played so far, except Baltimore and Texans, were trap games.

Yep it’s like people are waiting and actually hoping they lose a game just so they can tell you “see I told you so they would lose this game.” Let’s just let these games play out one at a time here and why do we keep expecting this team to play that “bad” game this week or any other week. Maybe they are finally past that crap this year and aren’t gonna lose to teams they aren’t supposed too like they have in precious seasons. It’s ridiculous these comments on here these last 4-5 weeks that “oh this is the trap game and the one they lose, or no this is the game they are gonna lose the jags play teams tough.”
