seriously pissed off at the Cheats after the way this game ended. It would be such sweet poetic justice to see them destroy the Patriots in the playoffs.

I think that's the silver lining in this debacle.

If they won, maybe they would have been too overconfident in the playoffs. Being at home would not have guaranteed a win and playing them on the road isn't a guaranteed loss. Ya never know

And it'll end with a Gronk catch identical to Jesse's, but it'll be a TD.

What is ultimatley lost in translation is the fact that Sean Davis making that pick equates to none of this happening.

Of course though, considering how far he has regressed in year two, I am not too surprised.

Keith Butler did not do him any favors either.

Wide receivers usually can't catch deflected balls. That wasn't that easy a pick

I agree, hopefully they lose to the bills/jets and still have to come to Heinz because that would be better than a win today.

    Sweet sweet justice.

    Indeed it was not.

However, it was still a possible pick. Should Sean Davis secure that ball... game over.

Or if Ben sees Eli behind JuJu that would have been a first down. Or if Ben sees JJ coming off his block on that last throw with nobody within 10 yards of him. We had plenty of opportunities. Just sucks how it seems how lucky that the Pats are all of the time.

He fact that he got his hands around to even try was some work.

He was going full away from that deflection! He catches that he probably can get back up and take it to the house!

I thought Ju Ju could've kept going straight down the sideline Instead of turning into the field? He had a blocker in front of him

Call me crazy, I'd rather them play in Foxboro for the AFCCG, pissed off after losing this game, plan playing NE riding a 13 game winning streak.

PS, best scenario is the Bills beat the Pats and Steelers get best of both worlds.

Think his Madden speed rating will take a hit after that play

    Or those. :lolol:

Ultimately though, Tony Cornette's "flag happy crew" did not do themselves any favors today.

My god man he was falling away from the ball, that’s the toughest catch to make, that is why Brown dropped the ball in the endzone. It’s a tough catch for WR’s and almost impossible for a safety. I think they should have had Wilcox in there to be physical with Gronk. He’s a big safety and can run. Davis did not match up with him.

Tomlin can afford a fine, I hope he rips the refs in his post game presser or some time during the week. Won't do any good, but it will give me some satisfaction hearing someone else besides the fans saying something on the matter.

I don't know, man, when it hits you in both hands you've gotta catch it.

I agree, but the ball was deflected and those are very hard to adjust to. They always say that DB’s are WR’s that can’t catch.

How 'bout we hire Negan to cover Gronk if we play them again?

Davis might have caught the ball then rolled over with it in total control then knock it out of his hands with his knee as he is getting up causing a fumble which he dives on for the recovery. End result incomplete pass. Just remembering a play Troy made or did he ? Its the NFL reality is fluid smoke caught in a breeze.

Just because it is almost impossible does not make it absolutely impossible.

Sean Davis has to make that play. Realistically, Sean Davis has to increase his overall level of play for him to break his limits and ascend to the next level.
