I have a good feeling about this game, which means we will probably lose in the final seconds :crycry:

I would be shocked if they win this game, but I hope I am wrong. I know they usually play Baltimore well so who knows.

They cannot start sluggish and uninterested...if they do we are doomed.

Zay Flowers officially ruled out. Just happy Lamar now has an excuse if things go south. Hate for it to be on him in any way.

Flowers is out so now it guarantees the TE will have a career day.

Scoring first might help morale some.
How about Arthur Smith gets his head out of his behind and stops being soo predictable.

I think turnovers are probably our best shot at winning this one. Keep them out of the endzone like we did vs the Bengals, get a few turnovers, and hope Wilson and the offense don't lay a 6th consecutive egg.

In my estimation we have just as good a chance of getting blown out as we do of winning... but it is still a rivalry game, so you never truly know. These games tend to end up being close games, so there is definitely a shot. I'll be cheering like hell that we finally break the Tomlin curse and get a playoff win.

Opening drives on both sides of the ball have been abysmal. The last time we scored first was our 2nd game vs. Cleveland (ironically our last win), and the last time we scored the first touchdown was week 10 vs Washington. I think this speaks to the lack of quality game planning, but that is just speculation.

If we start on defense we gotta make them punt, and if we start on offense we gotta score. Simple as that. If we fall behind multiple scores early AGAIN... then nothing has changed and we just gotta accept being out-schemed on a weekly basis.

I can live with losing if we come out hot with a good game plan. Sometimes you're just not the better team that day... But we as a fan base can't simply be okay with getting blown out early and having to have some miracle come back every time we play in the playoffs.

I edit your line to this "They cannot start sluggish and PREDICTABLE...if they do we are doomed". I remember Cowher doing this after Bettis had been out, come back for playoff game we line him up and first down hand off and Bettis is stuffed 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage". If we are this predictable and try the predictable establish the run game when they are stacked in the box I will genie blink myself onto the sideline to rip the headset off of Tomlin and fire smith on the spot and take over play calling duties.

Considering that almost every game against the Ravens ends in a damn near stalemate, this game will probably be a lot closer than most think.

The fact that we came out as big losers in a pretty brutal 4 game gauntlet(Cin is probably the hottest team in the league), and the fact that the final score in the Ravens game was so lopsided, has people forgetting how highly contested this matchup ALWAYS is. It was a one score game, as usual, in the 4th qtr before Russ threw that horrific pick 6.

I'm not saying we're going to win, but of the tougher teams(Chiefs, Bills Ravens), I think this is the one we have the best chance against.

There are very few "easy" games in the post season. We definitely have more than zero chance...

The concern is just how bad Russell Wilson and the offense have been. If we played even halfway decent in the losses, I'd feel better, but the offense wasn't just bad... it was putrid. Kenny Pickett reincarnated levels of putrid. We couldn't run, Russ couldn't throw, we turned it over... We threw for less than 160 yards in 3 of the last 5 games (and would've been very close if it weren't for garbage time in the Chiefs game). Its all going to come down to whether or not Russell plays NFL caliber football. He's been terrible for over a month. He needs to have a good game if we want to win. It doesn't have to be perfect, but he HAS to throw for 230+ yards and not turn it over.

Donte Jackson left the last Baltimore game pretty early so Minkah was the only starter playing in that defensive backfield. I don’t know who will win, but I don’t think either team loses by 10. That point spread is crazy.

Minkah needs to keep their big Tight End out of the endzone for us to have a chance.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh ruffled a few feathers among Pittsburgh football fans Thursday. He announced that receiver Zay Flowers will be out for the team’s playoff game against the Steelers on Saturday.

But then he added that Flowers “will get started again next week.”

They were talking about that on the Fan this morning. Maybe they are looking past the Steelers.

Even with the Steelers struggles of late that would seem to be a very foolish thing to do on their part.

Agree never give anyone additional motivation. Before anyone says, its the playoffs that's all the motivation anyone needs. Jordan used to look for any slight actual or invented to motivate him. Look at what Tom Brady did to Anthony Smith who to me was never the same after Brady torched him. I loved how physical that guy was and Brady looked to smoke him after he said they expected to win.
