The sponsorship deal ended, they picked up a new sponsor. What the hell has that got to do with “Steelers football”?

Am I missing something sacred about ketchup…?

 

Defense is really good and they'll keep the team competitive. KP seems like the real deal. They'll be around 500 this season then improve the O Line in the offseason and expect the Steelers to be back in contention next year - that's the way i see it anyway.

 

Since I don't live there, I have a question. Does the city of Pittsburgh own the stadium, or the Rooneys?

 

With my kids ketchup was sacred. My wife made my daughter sit in a different room and eat once because she put ketchup on her pumpkin pie. I've even seen my kids make themselves peanut butter and ketchup sandwiches. I bought them so much ketchup through the years that I think I personally made Teresa Heinz Kerry a gazillionaire.

The Steelers have a lease which gives them the rights to naming

The OL blew last season too, that's why Ben got rid of the ball in two seconds, and they still made the playoffs.

I watched us go 11- 0 , and had 2 hear how bad the team was,and how it was all smoke, and mirrors. Then when they lost the playoffs game that was proof of it. LoL. Like there has never been a great regular season team lose in the playoffs. Hell I watched P. Manning do it more than anyone I can think of....I can't remember a more one ,and done Qb/team off the top of My head.

Doesn't mean it was smoke ,and mirrors. It means people got hurt,and weren't the same as they were at the beginning of the season. I could go through the list , but I won't.

 

Yes, the OL did suck last year. And the FO didn't do enough to make it better since then. And if you're happy with barely making the postseason and then getting utterly embarrassed, then there's no hope for you.
