While not to harp on the 4th and 29 spot, I agree with Hack. Now the Chokers should have never even let him sniff that area, but the spot was terrible.

Ray Rice's (all 5' 07" of him) knees were on the ground behind the 35 yard line on that play. He was at about a 45° angle at the time with the ball tucked mid body. Unless his torso is about 6 feet in length, there is no way he could possibly get to the mark needed for a first down. The ball was actually at about the 34 1/2 yard line max when his kness hit. How they got that spot so far off after replay is beyond me - I think it was just to save face about initially spotting it almost 2 yard too far.

16-13. They didn't do enough to win.

Yeah, it you give up almost 30 yards on the ground on 4th down...you deserve to lose.

at about the 15 yard mark, three defenders took themselves out, falling like dominoes - keystone cops I say

Thank you!! I am tired of many people on this forum being on the Rats junk. How did they close the Chargers game? Sure they won in the end, but with major help from the chokers, refs, and football god bounces. Remember the third down before 4th and 29, flacco got stripped but the ball bounced right up to Oher. Then we all know about the 4th down play---4 chargers miss tackles and the refs blow 2 calls to help the Rats. Then it takes them to the last minute in OT to win the game?? How is that closing well, luckily for them the Chargers looked completely inept the last few minutes and OT.

I'd like to see how the Rats do without their 2 time super bowl champion QB (oh right they don't have one), their best offensive weapon, and their best defender (and please don't tell me Ray Lewis is their best defender, heck they might be better on the field without him).

How is increasingly clear that Hairball is a better coach than Tomlin?? How many championships does he have?? And lets not forget the Rats nearly lost to the same Browns twice with a healthy squad compared to us (trailing in the 4th quarter one game and winning by a TD the other), give them a third string QB and see if the outcome is different.

Sorry to be rambling but I will never envy the Rats for anything. They close games eh?? How many Super Bowls have Hairballs and his boys closed? How many AFC championships??
