The race for homefield and or bye week...

The way I see it the only teams the Steelers need to worry about to get either the 1 seed or the 2 seed and at least a bye week are the Pats, Raiders or Chiefs. No team in the AFC South has a chance to overtake the Steelers so right now they are a game up already on the Pats and tied with the Raiders and Chiefs. Every loss the Pats have on weeks the Steelers win are so huge. Let's hope they have another one this week in New Orleans.

 

A lot of football left to be played...

 

I would add the LA Chargers to the list if they can pull off a win tonight in Denver. If Rivers ever gets any weapons that can stay healthy, Chargers could do some damage.

 

The way I see it the Steelers have 15 more games to worry about before thinking about the playoffs.

 

After that crap game they shouldnt even think about the playoffs. Need to get back to the fundamentals and eliminate mental errors.
Too many penalties. Any other team other than the colts and jets would have beaten us yesterday!
Hopefully it was just rust but they need to get better in every aspect (except AB of course) to be considered to win the division let alone home field advantage.

In our Super Bowl teams with Ben we lost some clunkers, and close calls to losing to bad teams.

Im glad we won, just tired of this team always playing down to competition and always keeping teams around. Especially on the Road!
I really worry about this team the first half of the season. 5 of our next 8 games are on the road. We are a completely different team on the road.

Just curious, how many games do you think we win of the next 8? Up to Week 10 @ Colts.

Seriously though, Must clean up the holding calls and late hits if we want to even sniff the playoffs this year. Those penalties along with the PI's will make or break a season.

Patriots will beat Saints on Sunday and probably lose maybe 2 more games max. 13-3 is the worst they will do.

 

My goodness, isn't it a little early to talk about playoff seeding? 1 game is in the books?????
