Don't overlook the fact that the Colts still have 2 games remaining versus the Texans. Pittsburgh is still very much in the running for the 5th seed.

As bad as everyone is making the Steelers and their situation out to be, I think its nearly impossible for them to NOT make the playoffs even if Ben sits next week versus the Ravens and they lose that game.

Yes this is the X factor. If Ben doesn't play again, the Steelers are screwed and they will miss the POs. But I think its a pretty sure thing that he will return before the end of the season or its too late. I will be stunned if Ben returns before game 14 AND the Steelers dont make the playoffs.

Same here. I'm can't predict when Ben will return, but I'll be stunned if it's longer than that and we don't make the playoffs.

Just end the losing streak and all will be good. Until then, it's hard to think about the playoffs. 2009 is too vivid in my memory.
