That's why I shake my head at Colbert sticking around for the draft and all off season activity. If indeed he feels it's time then move on and let the new GM do his thing. If they already know who the next person is then put him in and start the transition.

Like I said, show me any official steelers logo, literature, website, etc. that drops the s at the end of the name. Claiming steeler is an adjective doesn't even make sense. Maybe if you said "steel" I could see it but not steeler as an adjective. Then you get called on your nonsensical geriatric incoherent rant and you have nothing to back it up and have to resort to crotchety insults. And hey, I'm all about throwing shade and busting balls but it really is sad watching people lose their mental acuity as they age.

How do you know that isn't basically happening? The only reason IMO to keep him through the draft is because we plan to promote someone already on the staff.

The position is upper management to supervisor the knucklehead hall monitors.

Agree. At the very least, the new Steelers GM should be aboard and jointly be part of the draft process. What I don't want to happen is next year we stink up the place and our draft picks are worthless; the new GM uses the ' those weren't my picks" excuse and no one is help accountable. And on we go with another round of "the buck never stops". JMO>
