1 team a year wins it all....so everyone else is getting those same trophy. So would you rather be the 3-14 team with those trophies, or the 10-7 team, 9-8 team with those trophies....knowing You may have a chance. I don't know about You, but I've personally watched this team win 4 SBs, and go to 6 SB games. I was alive for the others , but I wasn't paying attention during the 1st two, and have only seen replays.

You bring up an interesting point: You say wouldn't you/we rather have "a chance" to win a Super Bowl each year? Absolutely. Now tell me how this regime gives us a "real chance" to win one and I'll be all psyched to root for them. Other than take a veteran-laden team to the Super Bowl and win one, what has this regime proven capable of since? I'm all ears/eyes. 2008 was almost 15 years ago. That's one and a half decades ago. What year have we had a realistic chance in that span? A decade and a half ago. And yet we've not only won a playoff game in 6 years but we are supposed to believe a SB is right around the corner...really? Interesting.

That's awesome. What is the name of this award? Is it comparable to winning a Super Bowl? I am excited to take part of this celebration, when is it scheduled to occur?

You do know that one playoff game in 6 years is a stupid stat right???
You do know other team that have won SBs have went longer before...yet they still win SBs....So that means nothing.....does Winning one playoff game all of a sudden make You SB material???? LoL....the only thing that makes You SB material is actually playing in the SB....not winning one playoff game , or two playoff game....even if You did it every year for 20 straight years.....then it would be the same as not having a losing season.....your still not making it to the SB.....again only a SB makes You SB material. And to answer Your question....the year We got everyone hurt in the playoffs, and lost to the Broncos was our last legitimate year.....maybe 2020 if Ben, and the whole oline didn't fall apart of old age at the end of the year.

Now, all that and you did little (nothing) to dispel the fact that we haven't been a real SB contender in years and years and years. Winning a playoff game may not be a "tell" that we are close to a SB, but NOT winning one SURE AS SH_T is an indicator that we are nowhere near a SB. That's where we've been the last 6 years. But as you stated, we've actually not been a legit SB contender for ever far longer with this man as our head coach; it's been nearly a decade and a half since we have sniffed around a SB, the last being in 2010. It's 2023 in case you are unaware.

6 years without winning a single playoff game certainty underscores that this team hasn't been in contention for those 6 years, but in reality, it's been longer, even with a franchise QB on the roster for most of that tenure. Most Steeler fans were in great anticipation to see how Tomlin would do sans a franchise QB; well, the results are coming in (typing/reporter noise in the background) and the results are indicating Mike Tomlin may not be up to the challenge....it appears the heroics of Big Ben not being in the line up to erase play calling failures may be too much for Tomin to overcome.....but wait....upcoming schedule may produce enough cupcakes to distract fans from seeing the truth. And wait, it's here: a non-losing result to keep the snow job going. Hurray! We are all saved. Rejoice. The unveiling of the non-losing season streak is on schedule to be celebrated.

Tomlin sounds like Biden in some of these pressers with all his made up words not to get political I’ve not heard splash plays in a while probably they have none. Try this at the next one Big Mike “our team was woefully inadequate today “

Well, until that happens to me, it hasn't happened. I was willing to "wait and see this year" but I think I'm about to get pretty disappointed that it's just same ole Tomlin circus act; a 9-8 record with cheers for it, while not really contending for a ring, once again.

    ding ding ding ding

fans always underestimate team coaching and lea
me too, was a child in '74 when it all started. got into my blood, my veins. winning is infectious!

i don't think we will win a playoff game in the future with MT as HC, I'd agree with that. This Rooney is not like other ones, unfortunately. Has no fire in the belly
