The worst part is that they are whining and crying when there are 16 games left. Nobody knows how it is going to turn out. They should at least get a clearer picture before they implode after one game.

I ***** about coach's decisions and performance and player performance sometimes, but for them to just live in that bubble of pure negativity and all-encompassing pessimism doesn't make much sense. I seriously don't understand how people can live like that.

 

I can't imagine what it will be like on here if we lose to the Stains at home on MNF. That would be 0-2 at home to start and that may put some over the top. Nice thing about wins is it silences much of this. If things get fixed, we can get back to normal on here, whatever that is. Personally, my go no go for this year is the 1st game after the bye. The sample size isn't foolproof but better than the first few games. JMO>

My guess is that this isn't just after 1 game, but after years of average outcomes. Frustrations build over time and it's been building a long time for some. All we have to do is win and all gets better. But we have to start winning. JMO>

I responded by addressing your four simple points and showed you that you were the one that was incorrect about the number of weeks you are basing your thoughts on because your entire point about the Browns game deciding which team is better is actually the second game of the season. I know how difficult that must have been for you.

If you are really overwhelmed by something as rudimentary as that, and don't want to reveal your thought processes because you fear they may not hold up......maybe you should stop pretending that you are above it all to try to make yourself look good, because it isn't working.

It's Silverback that is wrong about his own post and talking down to me when I asked him a simple question.

There is room for criticism and doubt, but never seeing the other side or letting things play out before going nuclear on the team just doesn't compute to some people.

 

My problem is with people that b!+ch, and complain about something in a game that they didn't even watch, or didn't see....they heard someone mention it. LoL . That's what I find extremely funny. It's like people complaining if KFP had time. From Me re-watching. I believe KFP had more time on most plays than Purdy did.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret that you probably already know but don't want to acknowledge because it doesn't fit your narrative: there is a significant amount of members on this message board who are not happy with the direction the team is going. That number also seems to be growing larger and larger as Tomlins tenure with this team continues.
Some people choose to blame certain parts of the organization for the teams shortcomings, whether that be a coordinator, a few players, the coach, or all the way up to the owner.
Guys like you take a sh!t on the entire thing from top to bottom. Where were you in the off-season when the front office was making all kinds of moves to make this team better? Did you have anything positive to say then? I kind of doubt it and even if you did, all that got washed away by one sh!tty performance to start the season.
Talk about being on a roller coaster. Have you ever tried being patient with the process? And before you spout me the whole 3 in 12 bullsh!t, I ask you then why even be a fan of the team?
Guys like you are certain nothing is ever going to change with this coordinator or this head coach or some of these players so why not just take a break until those guys are gone? Do you really think you're impacting anything with the constant complaining?

Nah, I will rely on the fact the Steelers have never finished last in the AFC North, and hasn't had a losing record since 2003 .

Trust me I wasn’t like this 10 years ago. Used to get super jacked going out to watch them with confidence (unless we played NE )

 

Then the answer is simple: don't watch. If there's no chance the Steelers sniff another Super Bowl under Tomlin, why subject yourself to bad football? Take up a hobby. I bet by the next time the Steelers win a playoff game, you could be quite proficient at any number of musical instruments. Pro tip: playing heavy metal does not bring in the ladies as much as one would think.
