Agreed, but that is now every team in the league. If you don't have a blue chip QB forget it. They won't let you win Super Bowls with a great defense since the rules are so bent towards offense you better have a stud at QB.

Just looking on paper their strengths in many positions match up as well or better than many, the weaknesses we have addressed will make a big difference is they got it correct. The 2nd year 'leap' for KP and others is going to have to factor in, the top 4 rookies look promising and could well be contributors. Other good teams have the same outlook, it's a long season and we have seen injuries on other teams help us in the past, ditto for it hurting us when we get hit. As long as the odds are against us going to the SB, the one thing that would help in that journey is to win the division, one home game in the play offs is huge, getting the second best record might get you two home games in the play offs. Are we there? Likely not, but we alos went 15-1 with a rookie and lost at home, went 9-7 and won 3 road games to the SB. It's a long season and strange things can happen, looking forward to the ride.

bad memory, but still 3 road wins to get to the SB. Cowherd was mentioning his 8 teams that could win a play off game, but could not make it to the SB (Steelers included). I get that going through Burrow, Mahomes, Allen and others would be daunting, but if they get to that point, win a couple you just never know how it's going to go. I'm not saying it will, but after the first round the last couple of years, many of the games were 3 points or less, it just gets that competitive. What I.m at least hoping is this team is building THAT competitiveness, where the first round of the PO is not a blowout loss, but this team is being built for the long haul. You have to get to the dance, I not only want to get there, but to be able to hold our own.

Again....I know I'm in the minority, but I really don't see what everyone sees in the Bills, and J. Allen...outside of His strong arm. The Bills have gotten worse every year since the AFC Championship game, and J. Allen's contract cap % hasn't really even hit the team till next year.

I believe the Bills would have won the super bowl in 2021 if their defense would have made a stop with 13 seconds left vs Chiefs...Josh Allen was at his peak in his playoffs...Last year they were 13-3 but the injuries in defense, including the one of Von Miller killed the bills... This year, I am not sure about that team right now but we will see

Chiefs Bengals and Bills are the three best teams in the AFC because they have the three best QBs. Allen did not look good in that playoff game last year I suppose he is the one that has the most to prove on staying in the top 3.

    AFC is so loaded though

A healthy Tua with those weapons could make a case

I don’t think Rodgers at his age is the same but he still has the ability especially in year 1 with a new team to revive his career. Can’t count a guy like that out of it yet.

Lamar if he stays healthy could be top 3.

Watson also could have a strong rebound although I think his issues and missed time have somewhat derailed his career.

Lawerence is on the cusp and could be a legit threat to enter the top 3 this year.

    Hubert same as Lawrence.

I don’t think Russ can return to glory at this stage but he does have an offensive guru now with SP.

In other words the AFC QB room is pretty ridiculous honestly. Kenny has a lot of work to do to get into most of these guys area code.

Sure, luck means a lot in football. Not having a good quarterback is bad luck.

And I believe if Bell, D. Williams, and Ab doesn't get hurt We would have went on to beat Carolina that year in the SB, but We didn't, and the Bills didn't.

I don't think the steelers would been in the super bowl since the matchup in the AFC title game would been against Brady and the patriots and we all know our history in Foxboro with Brady is just awful

Agree with this. Steelers would've gotten stomped at Foxboro had they beat the Broncos. Patriots would have had 7 rings instead of 6. Thank the gods that Von Miller and Broncos stopped Brady that year.

    I looked

Every team we play is an NFL team with a 53 man roster and the same salary cap

The word easy should not be used

It wasn't used. Easiest was used.

I agree though but because we still have Popcorn, Dumlin. Tomlinson as our coach we will play down to the teams.

    WE'RE DOOMED. (thanks heinz)

The Josh Allen that I saw in the thrilling playoff loss in KC a couple of seasons ago was great. I haven’t seen that Josh Allen since. However, I’m more of a disbeliever in the rest of their roster than of Allen. Allen wasn’t great in the playoffs last year, but the team around him was atrocious. Allen seems to have slid back a notch while the rest of their roster has slid back a few notches. I would not be afraid for us to play a playoff game in Buffalo. I’m more concerned about KC and Cinci.

I spent a moment looking at the Bengals, Ravens, and Steelers’ schedules. Say the teams split, head to head. The difference is who they play.

    Bengals get Chiefs, Bills, Vikings
    Ravens get Chargers, Dolphins, Lions
    Steelers get Raiders, Patriots, Packers
Browns will get nothing and like it.

Should the Steelers be who we think they are, these are 3 wins for the black and gold. But I wouldn’t give 3 wins to either Bengals or Ravens.

For the browns, they will have 3 teams who will be better that last year I believe(Bears,Broncos and Jets),so it will not be that easy for them

I think Allen was playing with an injured elbow at the end of last season.

Tiny break for us is we get SF at home while the Ravens and Bengals have to play out there. The 17 games throws me off. Use to be simple. every 4 years you play one of the NFC divisions. We got Eagles first year and I see Packers this season. IMO it should still be only 4 teams from the NFC and 13 from AFC. Not sure if Raiders are in the Burgh but I think we handle GB and Pats.

True...He was a MVP caliber player for the first 6 games or so but when he had this injury against the Jets, he was not the same after
