    Simple.

    He will have failed to properly apply the teachings to him from not just his superior in Morgan Burnett but Tom Bradley as well.

    In short? His own overconfidence and
    ignorance will be his undoing.

    This is what I would say if Edmunds showcased such character traits. However, considering there is insufficient information to increase the credibility that Terrell Edmunds was any of the aforementioned negative character traits, that also is a insufficient conclusion in itself.

    To conclude?

    Any issues that you or others have with him is irrelevant at this point. Character is just as important as what a football player is capable of; some exceptions notwithstanding. Terrell retaining his humility and increasing his knowledge of the game while showcasing a strong yet humble form of confidence will not be an issue. He will adhere to Bradley's and Burnett's teachings and lessons well and will benefit from it

    Furthermore, Terrell has the capabilities, talent and potential to grow into a rock solid football player. How great he wants to be is something that he will answer for himself. I can, however, answer this;

    A safety like Terrell Edmunds is what is needed in today's NFL. Hybrid players for the defense today are what "Shutdown Corners" were in 80s to 00s; hallmarks of their time.
