There are references to characters in the comics, but many aspects of those characters are different in the show. For example, Sofia is huge in the comics, but not on the show. Her back story is a little different, too. I'm more of a Marvel guy, too, so I mostly know about the comics through breakdown videos on the Screencrush YouTube channel.

That's cool. I have always wondered what made a person more of a Marvel, or a DC guy. What made us decide???
