Actually penalties result when a team is un-disciplined, we had two unecessary roughness calls 1 on clark and 1 on mundy in this game, tomlin said he was going to work on penalties this week, really, they lead the league in penalties so with a very short week tomlin is going to work on cutting down on the penalties, so he is just now noticing the penalties after 4 games? Through the first five weeks of the season, the Steelers (2-2) are averaging 9.25 penalties per game, the most in the NFL. More important, they have had 346 penalty yards marched off against them. For a team that has rushed for just 331 yards, that’s significant.

    Fixed it pretty good yesterday.[/quote:13eg2x6f]

if you consider that good enough to win the SB. i highly doubt it. i'd say the RB fixed alot of it.[/quote:13eg2x6f]

We've won the SB with a spotty line before so yes, if they play like yesterday they can. And while it's obvious how much better Mendy is then Dwyer and Red, the line did open some holes you and I could have run through and kept Ben off the turf. They did a good job yesterday.[/quote:13eg2x6f]

now TE you know thats not the norm. we have also added considerable damage to our qb with these lines. i don't see how anyone could be OK with it.

I'm just giving credit for a game well played by that unit Sunday. If they continue to play to that level I'd be pretty happy with that. "if" being the key there.

Amen Brother, I have been saying this for years. The Steelers
really have to look at thier grading system when evaluating OL AND CB.

Like it or not, that play tends to work for them very frequently. Seems they get the long PI call more than any team, and always when they really need it.
