I kinda feel bad for JJ he is a die hard Steeler fan and now has to chose between being part of a circus or possibly moving on.
Interesting reaction to the question being asked about Ben being the one that made comments that didn't need to be made....you be the judge.

I love this. I think this is a statement that a legit leader makes. He was honest but never threw anyone under the bus.

I like james, he's quiet and puts in the work. Sure he isn't as gifted as others but he seems like a team first guy.

Thanks for posting, I needed to laugh. I feel worse this offseason than I did last year. Last year I was still cycling through the 5 stages of grief.

 

I like to think that these past years of suffering will lead to something greater but I don't know, life doesn't always balance out lol.

 

The guy runs in slow motion I wouldn't miss him, he looks clumsy out there, think he's still growing into his long legs like a great dane pup.

Let's look at games played the past three years.

Vance McDonald:
2018: 15
2017: 10
2016: 11

Jesse James:
2018: 16
2017: 16
2016: 16

Vance is the better player, but the Steelers would be foolish not to pursue keeping JJ. The best ability is availability.

 

Show me the stats in those games... yeah, great he's played 16 games each season. But if you're just looking for someone to fill a role for 16 games, I'll take the job. I can't run or catch, but if all you're looking for is that...

At least he got a rule changed, it helped Ben vs the Jags, that wouldn't have been a TD a year ago. ( think the QB run was vs the jags where Ben had to stretch out over the goal line )

 

The rule change was for a catch, not for a run. Ben's TD was a TD (sort of) regardless of the new rules.

JJ easily could have had similar stats to Vance if he had the same amount of targets in 2018 (72 for Vance vs 39 for JJ). Vance is the better player, but let's not pretend that JJ is some scrub.
