We lost to a good team. That's great news. That means we're now losing to both inferior AND superior teams. Yay!

Quite. This was the most painful loss for me in quite a while, and it's hard for me to see any positives through the veil of disgust, but the Cowboys are juggernauts, and we a stupid penalty away from winning.

Problem with the Davis call was he was not even needed in on the tackle. Hell the better play is let them wrestle ans push taking time off the clock!

This defense had 42 seconds to seal the deal. I remember a time after the offense scores our defense would unleash the beast. Now, I hate seeing them take the field.

Well, I wonder what Coach Cliche will have to say about this latest Steeler LOSS?

I thought it would matter more that they did not start the clock on the last 2 pt conversion of the steelers with 42 seconds left.

    BINGO!!!

He was stood up and stopped, just let him waste time. But when you have a stupid coach, that's what you do.

If Tomlin coaches rookies to go in and grab a facemask, I would be surprised.

I wouldn't say they lost to a good team. They beat themselves and they are certainly not a good team.

"Obviously this didn't go the way we wanted. Obviously we would have liked to contained Elliot better. That's on us. We own it. Obviously not getting the 2 points hurt us, but we don't live in our fears. We very obviously are disappointed, but the standard is the standard. Obviously."

If only Sean Davis didn't take an idiotic penalty, then Mike Tomlin would be a good coach

    Bummer

The last time I was this angry was a couple years back when we lost a game to the Ravens. I can`t remember the details because my brain cells that registered that loss probably melted away.

Now I know what the Bungle fans were feeling when an idiot on defense make a very stupid penalty at the very end and a win turned to a loss.

Once again, opposing QB wasn't touched. It takes a special talent to get consistent pressure off the edge, and they have no one who fits the bill. I'm less optimistic as a result.

He doesn't coach discipline - when you continue to have dumb plays week after week, you're doing something really wrong. Let's face it, this has been a trend with his teams for years and the players have changed.

Thankfully for him Marvin Lewis is in his division and he's dumber. Tomlin is Marvin Lewis 2.0. If the Steelers don't get rid of Tomlin, they're trending toward becoming the same type of team as the Bengals - talented with little to no playoff success. They're heading in that direction already.

I would not give this team the day off tomorrow as they normally do, come in and rewatch this game over and over.

    I was thinking something similar.

I would say their kicker was looking fairly comfortable though... nothing to say he wouldn't have still made an attempt if the penalty didn't happen. All the same - dumb, dumb, dumb penalties to give away.

I'm not even sure if Harrison was on the field on either of the last 2 drives - when you need a pass rusher.

I'd say that was the game of the year.

I think Dallas has backup DB's in there and Ben was looking to exploit them.

That trick play with the fake intentional grounding, and pass to AB was excellent.

All in all I thought it was a great team effort.
