Big win. Eagles try to give the game to the ratbirds and still won. We are in good shape. Yeehaw

 

Even more atrocious officiating in the second half- bad spot of ball later reviewed, the Redman run which they managed to call wrong twice in spite of review, and the Ike phantom pass inteference call- it's almost laughably bad with these scab clowns.

Still, a very, very impressive win by the black and gold boys against a good team and which earned a potentially vital playoff tiebreaker. Great games by Miller and Brown, Woodley beat his man like a drum all day, and it may have been one of Ryan Mundy's best games. Keep it up with the offense- the yardage on the ground is not coming - yet- but if they keep up the time of possession like they have the first 2 weeks, they will win many games this year.

I hate playing an 0-2 team on the road next week, as the Raiders are going to be frenzied and desperate in a place where frenzied and desperate is the norm. However, it may be that the Raiders defense is truly awful this year.

 

Yes that phantom call on Ike was terrible. The upstairs official shoulda overturned that. Its obvious that was no hold and Clark had a clean hit. But they let it be, thats wrong.

 

This is a stat that can be overemphasized in some ways - but the WAY the Steelers are dominating TOP is what makes me agree with you here. These 8, 9, 10+ minute drives are just what the Steelers need to do to play winning football. While the defense was still gassed LAST week after the offense dominated TOP in the first 3 quarters - that won't happen often.

If the Steelers continue to pull off these long, extended drives that end in scores - we're in for a LOT of happy Monday mornings this season!

 

BEAUTIFUL last drive! Their d was done and we took advantage. Laid some wood along the way too! So so so glad bombs away bruce is gone. He was the opposite of a clock mgr. good win!
