Mello Dotson and Jordan Hancock are still on the board. How long though is a good question. I'd doubt for long regarding Mello but Hancock might be available in 5. That said, Howard or McCord could be as well. @Ender@Ender

I was just thinking that maybe Rodgers made some kind of stipulation like this so he wouldn’t be put in a Kirk cousins situation from last year

McCord is my preferred option too. I am not very high on Howard, he'd be a career backup. McCord has a little upside in his game and did it with far less talent surrounding him at Syracuse. Howard comes off as a game-manager. Serviceable. The NFL scouting negatives on him are fairly glaring for a QB.

Loudermilk though is IDL Depth. Leal was a pick I hated then and absolutely despise now. Tweeners seldom work; doubly so ones who are limited athletically. Leal had the pass rushing tools but none of the athleticism required.

I can see that for the 1st round, but starting with the Steelers 2nd pick in the 3rd round, I would say it is 100% on the Steelers for passing on Sanders.

I could certainly see that. Man, I still really cringe thinking of him in a Steelers jersey, just as bad as Vick wearing one, ugh...

Don’t we need a guard or tackle?

There were a lot of years where, outside the starters, our OLB’s was a thin room. Now we got 4 guys…I can only image someone will move on soon…either Watt or Highsmith.

As for Sanders … I know teams don’t like players with atypical agents. That might not be collusion, but could be a turn off. It’s a headache teams don’t want or need. Lamar Jackson was a top prospect and he fell to bottom of 1st.

Who gets more boos next year, Cleveland or Baltimore? Baltimore for me

At least they got another edge rusher in Sawyer for when TJ Watt disappears at the end of the season

Cleveland for what they will do in 2026 I presume.

Given how they have much more ammo to control the 2026 NFL Draft for the time being, that also means that any of the Top QB options are either within or at their reach.

Wait, he had 11 sacks and 6 forced fumbles in four games, damn, I must have missed it.

No, he was subpar this year. Mostly due to that injury, as I assume he came back too early. Remember he's being paid to be the best DE/OLB in the league. He may still be above average, but that is subpar for him and for his contract.

2, 3, 4 years ago, he was a persistent disruptor, a couple of big plays every game, now he is an occasional disruptor, with less big plays per game. You may be confused by rememberign 25 year old Watt and not this version of Watt.

He's still good, but is he worth re-signing at $30 or $40 million a year for 4 years? I wouldn't unless last two years are easy to get out from without a huge dead-cap hit.

seeing how gassed TJ is towards the end of every year, yes this is a need and sets us up well for the potential loss of Watt next year

Is this European Day at the NFL draft?

When is Goodell gonna realize NFL will never catch on there?

We can only hope. But then again they hid McCullers for 6 seasons.

Another wasted pick and a 3rd rounder to boot.

Experts ranked him as the 35 best player in this draft.
I think there's another word - Drama causing this.

They done a decent draft, you need a QB. So pick him or one of the others.

Oh yeah, they may earn the top pick for themselves, so hopefully Jax doesn't completely suck and allow Cleveland control where two QB's go.

Depends on the player but it’s not easy, especially blitz pickup. Took Warren a season at least to get it down. Johnson isnt good at it at all, it will take him time.

If you think Tomlin is putting Johnson out there with Rodgers at QB you’re delusional.

    He’ll be worked in slowly.

14th game. Typo, and you know that. The 6 forced fumbles led the league. He also had 19 sacks in 2023.

We will just need to disagree and move on.

The experts are saying he’s not worth a top 130 pick (and counting). Guys like Jeremiah, etc. are entertaining, but he’s not inside the interview room when teams find out who these guys really are.

This is my theory as well. I think it has little to do with talent, we all know he's not a Peyton Manning or Mahomes..
I would not have selected him in rounds 1-3 and in our case 4.
But now he's the 35th ranked player... he's better than the other QB available.

But there is a drama word.
It may well be Pittsburgh has had enough drama because between Brown, Bell and now Pickens... whew.

LoL. Yeah You're totally correct in the 5 years I've been on the board, and the other years I just read, and wasn't a member....Willis is the only Qb that has come out of college that You said was going to be great, or that we should get. LoL. You don't even believe that :bscow:. That would be like me saying.....I only have thought one CB was going to be good since I've been on here.....which everyone would know is :bscow:.....just like what You are trying to say. LoL..., but hey , someone on here will agree with you.

Cam Ward may have a better season than I thought.

Elic is a massive steal in Round 4.

I get the injuries but he does possess number one potential if he can put it all together.
