    Same.

People tend to forget the 6 game tear he had after that game. I would still take a chance on him.

When you start using words like collusion, you are simply hoping to stir up a crap storm. Stephen A. makes about as much sense as Cowturd and Bayless.

He’s falling for a reason. A high floor, low ceiling QB isn’t worth the drama.

I don't know, there is a rumor here locally that supposedly Rodgers will only sign if we do not draft a QB. I just have a hard time believing that one but who knows anymore.

Kaerpernick was awful in 2014 to 2016...Not good enough to have this drama....

You're probably right. The 3 ring circus will follow Sanders wherever he goes.

Honestly the answer to that question wont come for a while yet.

Shedeur (if hes ever drafted) will get a say in who was right or wrong.

There is also the fact that SAS is likely pushing a narrative about Shedeur that simply doesn't exist anymore given how the fact "his name" was used in his X Post.

I agree having too many good players at one position is not a problem it is a strength, because you have a spare asset too trade.

Negotiating power with Watt too...very important. They don't HAVE to overpay now. They might be better off to move on, Watts prime years are now behind him. This is the time where injuries show up more and more and production wanes, even if still good, probably won't sniff another DPOY award, even though he'll be paid like it.

I am find if the sign Watt of course, he's still a very good player and occasional disruptor, but overpaying for past production is always a cap killer and roster-building killer. Now IF they can't agree with Watt on a reasonable contract, they can at least get by with Highsmith, Herbig and Sawyer for a year and see how it shakes out.

It is not the end of the world. I remember the circus that went to Seattle with DK Metcalfs Draft; with DK asking Pete Carol why he waited so long to pick him.

I hope you are right. I still can't see us resigning Watt, I hope I am wrong.

I disagree about a crowded room. Perhaps of players yes but T.J., Alex, and Nick are all the team has. Everyone else are unknowns. With Sawyer, you are getting a massive, edge setting presence against the run. Outside of Landon Jackson from Arkansas, no one else in the draft is better at that than Sawyer.

Oof. Daniels now has McLaurin, Deebo, and Jaylin Lane as targets.

Third round guarantees nothing, but teams draft guys on day two expecting them to start at some point, if not as rookies. I highly doubt he will be that limited as a rookie. How many years do you think it takes a back to improve his pass pro?

You may not like him, but I saw him with second-round grades all over the place. The Athletic had him ahead of both Ohio State backs. He racked up explosive runs and huge numbers on a team with an average line and no passing game at Iowa in 2024. He is going to get a chance to contribute a great deal as a rookie. As someone pointed out, this isn't Conner sitting behind Bell as a rookie because Warren isn't even close to what Bell was then.

I'd imagine that will sort itself out sooner rather than later.

You are right though about one thing; what is the length of the contract?! I don't think money is entirely the issue here.

Still quite a few interesting DTs available

Would also be fine with adding Howard or Sanders to the QB room at this point

wish STD was here to give us some insight on the CBs available

I'll have to look at the board and get back to ya on that one.

Should be a lot of Slot CBs though still.

Occasional disruptor? When he got injured in the 14th game vs. Philly, he had 11.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles and 18 tackles for loss. He had 2 sacks, a TFL and a forced fumble in that Eagles game before getting injured.

I do think this pick kicks Leal to the Curb. Leal and Loudermilk were both mistakes that Tomlin has tried to hide by moving them around to different positions.

Leal and Loudermilk both belong on a team running a 4-3 defense. I hate it when Tomlin drafts these "Tweeners" and hopes to change them, rather than just pass on a guy and let him go to a team that suits the players skill set.

Yes, injury history, money and length. I love TJ, but time will tell I suppose.
