Carter or Gonzalez for the Lions unless they go WR.

 

He would have been in the mix of the quarterback hoopla this year. I think the weak QB class hurt Pickett last year. The strong class would have helped his stock this year. No way he’d be out of the first round if he were coming out this year.

 

I didn't get many answers, I'll ask again, who's your guy at 17?

 

So much for either of the top corners falling. Gonzalez probably wasn't making it out of the top 10, anyway, but the Seahawks taking Witherspoon pretty much clinched it.

Gonzalez was my first choice, but I don't see it happening. Broderick Jones is a long shot, but he would be next. I think the more likely options are Wright, Banks, or Porter. That is how I would rank them and I would be happy with any of them. That is a change for me. Earlier in the process, I would have had Porter first among those guys.

 

Darnell Wright for us I bet.
