Nah! Steelers sometimes go way off script. This has been consistently from the pocket.

    This year is different

You don’t consider arm length a factor at all in the bench press or not significant?

Trenton Simpson or Daiyan Henley will be a fantastic pick at 80

Edit: Pass rush Byron Young Tennessee is another I'd love.

It's just you have to go more distance, in theory, people of equal strength, the one with shorter should be able to do more reps because they have less distance to go each rep. Same with pull ups, shorter arms and typically less weight to carry up.

    I don't consider it a factor.
Longer arms have more muscle fiber, and therefore should be stronger naturally. I have unnatural long arms for My size, and I would hear this from guys taller, and weaker....until I made them measure arm length. Then I would say so what is the excuse now....leg length. LoL. I think it's an excuse bigger Guys use when smaller Guys are stronger.
Also....I don't think bench press is be all end all in strength....especially for football, or many sports. It helps , but IMO hand speed , and leg strength would be more important on the DL. Sorry for the book.

I agree to disagree. Longer arms mean more muscle fiber.

No they don’t. I’ve been watching these drafts my whole life and Steelers pick BPA per need. Keyword NEED. We’re lucky that we never get high picks. Think about that. High picks pretty much lock you into “The List”. Steelers always pick after the list and thank Gad we do. They take who they think is best and balance it with need. Most on this board can’t watch all the college games of every single player. That’s why they employ scouts!

Makes sense, everyone blocks on going for 1st or TD, and the defense knows it's coming

My Cowboys and Redskins fans relatives thought the 2008 draft was impressive. They were bragging on the Steelers. Mendenhall was good....but the rest...
