It actually wasn’t that bad. I fully expected it to be a nightmare and even went so far to change my schedule. Was going to start working at 5am to beat traffic both ways. Fortunately that never came to fruition. These days my commute has never taken longer than 8 minutes door to door. I work downtown and live in midtown

Ah, you're inside the loop. I have a friend that lives in Gwinnett, different story. He's been there since before Gwinnett rapidly grew.

You couldn’t pay me enough money to live outside the perimeter and commute inside the perimeter.

Honestly at this point I would tell other GM's to kick sand on point value. I get you start somewhere, but we have this pick and so far it seems to have interest and value to others, I do give an F about point value, I can pick the guy I want, so how much are you willing to give to move me..and how will it benefit my team.

The steelers did not hand them the best corner in the draft. The pats were going to select him if the trade didn't happen. He was going to be on the pats with or without the trade. But if the trade doesn't happen, the steelers lose Jones also. Both players would have been gone by the #17 pick.

Yea, if I am Omar I think nothing about points or anything except whats best for my team..and that best has to be good enough for me to move away from the player I value at 32. The pats did what they did for their reason, we won..F em and everyone else, we want to win again lol

Most of what I've been seeing is Ringo as a hybrid, but more of a safety. As a safety he gave up some horrible plays though.

What is the best we can get if we trade back?

    Another 2, 3, 4, or 5?

A little read on potential trade partners that would move up to 32. Lions, Raiders, Titans and Seahawks could be competing for Levis

    https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...ch-teams-are-most-likely-to-trade-up-or-down/

    Most likely to move up

Lions: We have already seen that Detroit is more than willing to move up or down the board multiple times, and the Lions owning the No. 34 pick might make the cost to move to 32 a bit lower than it would for some other teams. The Lions have repeatedly signaled confidence in Jared Goff, but landing Levis as a potential successor in the second round would be a strong move.

Raiders: The Raiders were reportedly after one of the top quarterbacks in the class, but couldn't land a trade to move up to No. 1 and then Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, and Anthony Richardson all went in the top four. Las Vegas clearly felt the value of Tyree Wilson was better than Levis, but with Jimmy Garoppolo essentially on a one-year deal where the team can choose whether or not to bring him back in each of the successive two seasons, they have to be considered a candidate to get in the Levis sweepstakes on Friday night.

Seahawks: I feel like a broken record here, but Geno Smith was signed to what essentially amounts to a one-year deal earlier this offseason, and the Seahawks -- armed with a ton of picks, and coming off of the best draft in the league last year and landing Devon Witherspoon and Jaxon Smith-Njigba on Thursday night -- could decide that the value of Levis at the top of the second round is too good to pass up.

Titans: Tennessee was considered the most likely team to stop Levis' slide in the first round if he made it out of the top 10, but opted to take Peter Skoronski instead. The Titans still need more help along the offensive line, as well as at the skill positions, but with Ryan Tannehill almost certainly nearing the end of his tenure with the team, they could also be in the Levis market again in Round 2.

Browns: Cleveland won't be a player for Levis, but its first pick does not come until No. 74 overall and the Browns brass could get antsy that it might miss out on its player of choice and try to move up into the back half of the second round.

49ers: San Francisco did not have a pick on Day 1, and doesn't have a pick until it is scheduled to make three of the final four picks of Day 2. But we know Kyle Shanahan loves to move up if he has a specific target in mind, and the 49ers do have 11 total picks so it's not like they would be sacrificing too many bites at the apple.

They'd be stupid not to look at offers from other teams and gauging their willingness to move up though. Someone might just give up a ton of draft capital. Capital that if used correctly might be able to move them up this or next years draft as well.

When NFL network went to commercial break a few minutes ago, Rich Eisen said something like the Steelers will be in the clock in about 30 minutes, we expect will then promptly trade out of the pick. They came back and said that there are MANY teams interested, and they’re expecting big compensation.

The problem with trading back, unless it's with Detroit 2 picks later and they want Levis or Hooker, is that we could lose out on JPJ and or Branch if that's who we are targeting. Lions were said to be in the market for a CB and they haven't picked one so they could take JPJ. We could also take our pick now and trade back with 49 depending how the board falls.

I think he is better than Pickett, same age I think. Not a bad pick.

I believe in Picket, I think he was the best prospect last year. But Hooker is better, he would've been better last year, to draft. Better production, better arm, just better.
