If he is the pick let’s hope he has the same level of success as Watt.

    That's a interesting take.
I had thought about that, but I stumble over how gawd awful that organization is.
The word I've gotten is that both want to move down. But heck, there are a lot of rumors.

I actually don't have a problem with that. I think we can win with Dan Moore and Chuks. There are higher needs elsewhere.

Still, when you look at highlights of Paris Johnson or Broderick Jones it is hard not to want to upgrade. They would clear some serious lanes for NAJ.

I wonder what the details are ... looks like he got more money overall than Hurts.

I was just listening to Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller in the car, and they said that the rumor is that the Texans may pass on a QB at #2. Risky for a team with Davis Mills and a pretty old Case Keenum at QB. I think that Anderson can be a great pro and has a very high floor, but if you need a QB can you afford to pass on one this year? Imagine if they pass on Stroud and he ends up killing them twice a year with the Colts.

Jackson extended, the only possible outcome left really. More money than Hurts.

His track record of being on point with picks is dismal. Mellon Head! :lolol:

That's a lot of money for a running back who can't play a full season.

Anyone recommend a "Local" Draft Podcast or Web Radio Station?
Any recommendations for live online Podcasts or Web streamed audio like SNR for Realtime Draft coverage.

Turn the volume down on the TV and listen to a Steelers Broadcast for Steeler Info during the draft Live?

I really like Stroud. Seems like he'll be the 3rd or 4th guy chosen, but of all the OSU guys thar came into the league recently, he seems to be the best of that bunch.

Yeah I wonder what the Colts are going to do. I kind of like the Kentucky QB, Will Levis as a fit there. But Stroud would be a better selection. Hey, if the #1 is a QB, it should be him anyway. Levis you could trade back and get.

For some reason, Ohio State QBs have not panned out as worthy top picks, at least I don't recently. It would surprise me if Stroud drops in the draft maybe at 5 (minimum), though he looked very talented at Ohio State supported by two incredible WRs.

And that last thing is really the knock that I can see on him. He throws a beautiful, accurate ball with the right amount of touch or zip as needed. He anticipates well and throws guys open. However he has not had to throw into NFL windows. It’s not just 2 incredible receivers. Last year 2 of his receivers went in the 1st. This year one of his guys is probably WR1. Next year, the same. Still, I like what I saw these past 2 years. It wasn’t just the receivers.

To me it is crazy when I see a mock draft where Houston passes on Stroud at #2. Davis and Keenum as your starting QBs this year?

Peter King said Houston is very high on Hendon Hooker and Houston believes he will be there at #12 for them.

Also hoping Washington throws their hat in the ring for a QB at #16.

Peter's mock from 4/24. I watched this podcast, because I read how Peter's mocks were supposed to be better than Kiper or Shay because he cares more about trying to simulate what the team will do than pushing players up their draft boards that teams are not interested.

Spoiler Alert: And then he has the Steelers take a WR at #17 to disapprove all the praise he was receiving for putting out a more realistic draft.

The Podcast I watched was over an hour long; only to watch the Steelers draft a WR was damn near hilarious for me.

Both Banks and Wright were still on the board when the Steelers picked at #17.

I hope people are prepared for Addison possibly being the pick. Don’t underestimate giving Pickett his guy.

Who did King mock to them?
