ray ray lead the league in return yardage. Was never intended to be a full time receiver. Was he great at receiver? Not by a long shot, but he still wasn’t a failed experiment by any stretch of the imagination. Switzer was a decent receiver we got him past his expiration date. As for the other 3 only two would be considered failures imo. Rainey would have been productive for us had he not beat his girlfriend.

Guess the Steelers can’t work any magic moving Rudolph or not trying to. Was hoping to trade back into the 5th.

Don't think they will. Didn't they say they wanted 4. Well We only have 3 now.....so getting rid of one would be ....Well .....going the opposite direction.

I think they have to move him, better than having a disgruntled player. He’s going to be 3rd string. From thinking you will be getting your shot to 3rd string is a bitter pill to swallow.

They could find second and third string QB’s to sign easily enough. Hell, Carson Strong is still available :hehehe:

Ok, watching some Calvin Austin. You want to talk about "sudden"? Holy s***! Dude's there, then he just isn't.

I don't know man. Get this dude the ball in space and some fun things might happen .

    1. What You are saying is very feasible, but...
    2. I think they are still telling Him He has a chance, and...
    3. I'm not sure He's the kind of Guy 2 make waves, but ....if He is they should, or will cut Him 1st.
I'm actually hoping that Pickett starts now.

Plus this isn't a gadget guy. This is a legit wide receiver. Guy is only 5'7 but he is thick and solid. I'm pretty happy with this pick

True, yes, McCloud has had some success as a return man, Switzer was average as a WR, nothing special what so ever, but my point is that these 5-7, 5-8 guys rarely work out. They had high hopes for Henderson, Stevens-Howling, Archer and Rainey too and they did nothing. I would rather add to D at the spot we took Austin, instead of gambling on a 5-7 WR. I just felt there were other needs there. But, I guess thats why I'm not in the F.O. lol and follow as a hobby. Regardless, I hope he works out.

He's not worth a 5th this year. Maybe a 5th for next year.

Yup. It's tough to learn too much just by watching highlights, but he isn't just some track guy. He plays fast. I just wonder if he can get off the line. I feel like we are going to see a lot of him looking like Jack Dundee against Dr. Death in The Best of Times.

Great pick for Dallas. Damone Clark is going to be a great player. It just won't be this year.

I’m surprised no interior offensive linemen.

Gonna be honest. I can’t see our run game improves much next year.

Wish they would get it moving. Later rounds used to move quickly.
Ah, just googled it. Time drops to 4 mins but not until the 7th.

Because they addressed it in free agency

Just lateral moves IMHO. Nothing that moves the needle.

James Daniels was a good signing, they had bigger needs in the draft than IOL.

True. All you can do is hope. But, size just matters so much less in today's NFL than it did even 10 years ago. Lots of protection for the WR's. At least this kid is a true slot WR and not just a gimmick returner/3rd down back type of guy. He at least has had success as a full time WR in college. Most of those types of players have not.

Daniels was an excellent signing. Cole will push and maybe take the center sport away from Green, IMO.

Two straight years over 1000 yards receiving. Over 70 catches last year. Gets in the end zone often. This guy's gonna be lightning.
