I feel the same way I felt about the Harris pick. Don't love it but don't hate it.

I do not hate the pick as Pat was ranked #40 on my list. That said, Creed is an instant plug n play starter! I seriously hope Quinn is there in the third!!.... Like... I really do!

I feel pretty good about this, unlike last night. Sure it could be the booze, but I think Pat can be great at a position that's pretty weak.

Do we need OL? Yeah, big time. But I like it.

He’s better than Jesse James ever was and he’s even better than Mike Gesecki who is a good TE for the dolphins.

We needed a TE there is nothing behind Ebron and he can’t block worth a lick

If they want humphrey or meinerz they are probably going to have to trade up...otherwise its Myers...assuming they go center at all!

 

Our offense was predictable last year. Opposing defenses did not have to take our TE`s or RB`s catching passes seriously. I think our two picks are trying to address that.

 

I don't think it's your place to be stating what others should or shouldn't be doing in that regard.

I like the Friermuth pick because hopefully he can push Ebron down the depth chart on non-passing downs. Like people are saying there are needs in every position group, so I am guessing the Steelers are taking the highest rated player on their board. I imagine JOK would have been the pick, if he was still available.

I guess you could argue that a TE who can actually block (unlike Ebron) does contribute to the running game . . . . so maybe this counts as like .5 OL?

 

Well all I can say is that if I wasn't so concerned about the offensive line I'd give this draft an A+ because I do believe Harris and Freirmuth are solid players to have on the squad.

Maybe Okorafor, Banner, and Finney can prove the doubters wrong
