It is gonna be tough just to eek out 10 wins. I just don't see how that will be enough to win the division. That Browns loss is going to haunt this team.

Browns loss likely cost us the division. Now the best case scenario is likely a WC road game yet again. Have to hope we don’t play at Buffalo or KC.

The Ravens lost to the Browns and Raiders I guess they lollygagged too then.

 

The Steelers will probably be the #6 seed and will likely play at Baltimore. But first things first they have to find a way to win 2 more games which won't be easy.

I have no idea how schedules are laid out and dates chosen after the final version is known of who will play the following year. Was there a person quietly and sadistically full of glee that he could 'screw the Steelers", doubtful. Was there an elaborate conspiracy to make our end of year schedule hideously difficult? Again doubtful. Is there a metric to get the most famous and followed brands in front of a large audience, to drive ratings, increase the betting revenue and make the owners piggy banks fatter? Less than doubtful, lol.

Someone asked on asked and answered (Steelers.com) a while ago about next years schedule, it is already known who we will play (except for the '17th' game that was added and wont be determined until the year is completed). Bottom line the NFL did not screw us, having a brand that creates money for the league (even in years when we were not premium) screws us.

 

Yeah it's just a coincidence the NFL put all these division games at the backend of the schedule, the first year they got a tv show focusing on the Steelers division .

 

Adapt and overcome the schedule .Stop losing and make Taylor Swift cry on Christmas when her man loses.

 

Short week or not, the Chiefs will still stomp us.

 

Hmm, and playing all of our games in the Division at the same time as the HBO/Max Hard Knocks show about the AFCN is just starting to air is just coincidence???

Yes we already know who we play a year ahead of time, but not when we play them.

 

I get what you are sayng, my point was/is follow the money. The Steelers are playing top 'brands' when it will benefit the league the most. I personally hate it, no team should face their entire division schedule in half a season, no team should have a bye week this late in the season. So with that I guess we got the short end, but bottom line its how to draw the biggest audience, or build more clout as they maneuver more games onto non=traditional platforms.

 

The Chiefs haven't been stomping any teams this season, they had to go to OT to beat the Panthers last week.

Steelers are pretty much an afterthought on pre-game Thanksgiving shows. It's written in stone that Ravens are gonna win the North and represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.
