Have to facepalm with the Steelers "fans" not knowing the difference in the tweets

But yeah, good choice :thumbs up:

I may have to actually get one. I only own one Steelers Jersey, Rod Woodson.

    My Canadian dollars are ready!

To heck with the import taxes. I need either an Antonio Brown Jersey or a T.J. Watt one!

One way or another, I will have one!

Right there with you, AQL.... of course, back in 1978, your exchange rate was a bit more favorable....

    Way more favorable.

Not so much anymore. Bad enough we get price gouged. Worse are the taxes. :lolol:

absolutely love this- been wanting them to do this for years. In fact, would not mind if they switched back to them permanently. I own over 30 different Steelers jerseys, but haven't added many in recent years. Will be stocking up now, on new guys like JuJu and getting some customs of older guys from the 70's.

Love 'em as throwbacks but I hope they don't make them permanent.

First thing is the rounded numerals, I like the look! And contrary to popular belief there is history there dating all the way back to the 50's with greats like Bobby Layne and John Henry Johnson wearing rounded number uniforms. See for yourself...

Second, the logo over the heart. The Steelers were the first NFL team to put their logo on the left side of the jersey over the heart. Pittsburgh adopted this wonderful tradition from some of the most famous soccer clubs around the world. See for yourself...

So final verdict is that the throwbacks are awesome but nothing beats our main ones. They're truly one of a kind!

Not much change at all except of the block #s which in my opinion are better then our current #s. The story behind it is cool regarding the superbowl.

This isn’t a throwback. It’s just a jersey that isn’t screwed up. They never should have changed.

I like the jersey, but it's really boring in terms of a throwback.

I like the late 80's/early 90's huge block numbers that Brister, Hoge, Woodson, Lloyd, etc wore better than the 70's blocks. For some reason, those blocks looked bigger (on TV) than the ones they wore in the 70's.

'96 was the last season with the blocks. I think Steelers should alternate... 4 home games with new-wave rounded numbers and 4 home games with blocks.
