I think for what you are asking the players needs to be a more slot and shifty guy with muscle mass to take the hits. Like a Steve Smith type. Deebo Williams type. Hines Ward type. We don’t have that guy.

 

yeah, i cringe when they run him due to his build but what I was saying is that if conditions don't allow throwing we we would be better off trying Pickens vs KP.

On the play, i liked that Pickens was willing to cut it up for the score but it looked like he could have walked in off the edge. Here are the best runs of his career (6 rushes 42 yards):
