I am thinking the same, we will have to see. When I made the statement in another thread what scares me play calling and OL play
were my biggest worries.

 

Brady was a 6th round pick. Maybe it's a 7th rounders turn to shine.

 

The one thing you can say about Kahn, he cut a lot of Colbert's players who were still playing on their rookie contracts. Getting rid of the dead weight, was never one of Colberts assets.

I believe Buddy Johnson, Layne, and maybe even McFarland would still be on the active roster if Colbert was still here.

 

Im sadly guessing Austinb is put on IR and McFarland is brought back to the 53

Hence the 7 WR and 4 RB... usually they go 6 and 5

I've been waiting to see Austin play on a game, but I'm guessing I may have to wait even longer

That is tough when you invested in the pick and it doesn't pan out.

 

Tougher when you realize how thin we are at ILB and he does not get signed back to the PS. Can't hit every pick, but not hitting many 3rd and 4ths is no way to build your team.

 

Do you think Tomlin knows how much each player is carrying in Dead Cap space, or do you think that is the job for the GM?

If you ask me; Colbert had a way of hanging on to players a little too long, just to avoid Dead Cap space.

I see other teams making good moved in attempts to build their offensive line. Ours has shown they are a dangerous unit.

Alex Leatherwood released? I hope they did a thorough evaluation the guy struggled but most had him as 1st round talent. He has to be better than Green at guard.

Keller Diesch with good foot placement and technique. We'll it's not hard to beat Dan Moore's.

Sorry getting tense I guess the plan is going in with what we have which is highly concerning.

I seriously wouldn't start Pickett this year if he's just going to get thrown around the stadium. I feel bad for Harris also who is expected to run through brick walls of defenders.

I think FO is trying, just very little out there. I am sure the Steelers scouting department
is going over every team's cuts. They are just not finding quality OL. Have you ever thought it might be OL coach
is not connecting enough with personnel on hand. Moore, Daniels come to mind.

 

You would think....since He's the one coaching them.

 

My sentiments exactly. So different from the teams we have been used to that could run the ball and stuff the run consistently.
