And this is a bunch of 'grisly veterans' as Mike Tomlin called them in his PC. Goes back to coaching or lack thereof. Guys just not looking prepared for their roles, constant arm waving before the snap.

 

Fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers on the “fire Mike Tomlin” bandwagon may have received some good news for a change — as a new report from Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac indicates that Art Rooney II isn’t thrilled about the current shape of the team.

During a Steelers chat with fans, Dulac was asked if Rooney was “angry” with Tomlin over the lack of playoff wins and the recent failures of the highest-paid defense in the league — to which he set the record straight on the strained relationship between ownership and head coach.

“Angry is not the word,” Dulac wrote. “Frustrated or impatient would be a better choice.”

And Roman Wilson, a player who produces when his# is called, takes a shot at Tomlin as for some reason he has been in his dog house. Might there be a reason for this?

Wild speculation on my part. Rooney has made up his mind and Tomlin has lost the Steelers.

Dark shades days are numbered. The writing on the wall has become more visible.

 

This looks like the beginning of a complete regime meltdown, and the annual collapse has started 3 months early.

 

I just don't care what all of these former players have to say including Ben, Ryan Clark, James Harrison.

I have used only used Joel B for 15+ years. Just out of curiosity are you a big Tomlin fan? Do you think he has under achieved relative to the talent his had since 2017?

 

If I cared what they have to say I would listen to their podcasts, I don't so I won't .

Ben is a phony don't go on your podcast saying your former coaches are going to get outcoached by the Vikings, then have the nerve to show up on the sideline in Ireland.

I'm always surprised that people don't get tired of the annual media Rickrolls on this topic.

If you think that Rooney is going to fire Tomlin. Be prepared for "Lucy" to "pull the ball away" again. Maybe that's the better analogy this time of year.

 

Tomlin complaint....I wish he would lose his temper on the sideline and really get into a player, at least from time to time. Maybe if he shows some fire during games it would rub off on some of the players. Maybe not.
