The league now fires refs for missed and bad calls

    Was just coming to post this. Seems like a poor decision unless there is more to the story. The system they have in place to evaluate and terminate officials seems like a better method then this knee jerk reaction. Now you'll have refs worrying about immediately losing their job over a bad call or in this case, non call. Can possibly effect the way they call a game.

    NFL can't get out of its own way.

    What do you mean, they fired him.

    They always held them accountable, read the bottom article, they have a 3 tier system.
