There is no question he has been elite for a while. There is a lot of question revolving around whether or not he still has it. And one good game last week doesn't prove anything just like one bad game wouldn't.

Just don't get him anymore receivers or a defense because then he would have a ring for the other hand. My brother is a Packers fan, I can't stand them.

He said he bulked up some this offseason, I think he's 10-12 heavier than last season.

He could have had a perfect QB rating, 5 TD's, and 15 yards per completion and someone would complain he almost got intercepted. Haters are gonna hate. This team has a history of starting notoriously slow, as does Ben. No preseason and until Ben went 2 min they looked like the old 1st game of the season team. Many have panted over the wr/te weapons we have on paper, and we saw little snippets of that coming to reality. All of this with essentially only 2 WR and 1 TE Ben has game experience with.

Good: 1) Ben's post-injury debut was mostly awesome, 2) run defense was over the top incredible, 3) Claypool's Holmes-esque grab for his first professional catch
Bad: 1) Losing Banner, 2) If not for the right time-right place INT by Heyward the Giants could've had a game-changing scoring drive, 3) 3rd and long defense reminded me of years past where this was a MAJOR and annoying problem

I don’t know how #2 falls under bad. That was good defense by Bud and Heyward to change momentum of the game. That’s what great defenses do. That play definitely falls under The Good for me.

If you remember, that "great defense" let the less-talented Giants sustain a long drive all the way into the red zone. Yes, the end result was good for us in THIS case, but allowing a weaker team an easy chance to score may cost us eventually.

Great defenses allow teams to score, they allow them to drive the length of the field. No defense shuts down every team completely.

The fact is they stopped them.
