    The Good:

Conner back to back good games AND healthy. Part of me think’s he was benched week 1. Weird that he came in for one play late in the game.

McFarland! 6 rushes for 42 yards and 1 reception for 7 yards. Kid is going to be a good weapon, he’s electric.

    Ebron got involved.

    No turnovers.

    Only 2 penalties.

Ben still with that determination to win, lumbering and fighting for what should have been a first down. No quit in that man.

Shutting down Watson and Texans in second half. Good adjustments.

    The Bad:

Not much bad. Playing on their heels first half, combination of bad defense and poor play calling.

Offense took a half to find it’s rhythm.

    The Ugly:

DJ getting drilled. Hope he isn’t out long, concussion I think.

Hard to argue with anything here. The only thing that angered me was the challenge. The refs screwed that up. I'd also add to the good category Chuks' overall play. He was solid the whole game.

    The good:

3-0 and winning a game that could have easily slipped away from us.

    The bad:

Timing with receivers and especially long balls still out of whack. Defense still showing some slop especially on 3rd downs. All fixable.

    The ugly:

    Harder games to come.

You really should expand the ugly section to include “fans” that call the game in the first half.

    Lots of good:
Enron had 5 catches with a TD, great game for him.
Adjustments by the D in the 2nd half.
RB by committee - this will pay dividends later in the year.

Bad: short yardage runs, missed out on a few 3rd downs.

    Ugly: D Watt’s hamstring, I hope it’s okay.

The Good: I loved when the Steelers drafted Bush. I loved hearing his name today in a few big plays.

The Bad: Only saw a little so far but are secondary had some problems at first but D came on in 2nd half. Don't see much praise on board about Minkah??????

The ugly: The post that handed Tomlin his ass 5 minutes into the game.

    The Good.
McDonald and Ebron were very dependable and used in key situations.
    No turnovers
Conner was a first down machine as well as JUJU.

    The Bad.
Empty Stadium. Just does not do much for the fan watching experience. Can't wait till all the stadiums are once again full.

    Ugly.
Secondary still gets burned and MLB'ers have a hard time covering.

The good - wide receiver depth; still room for improvement; The offense and defense are doing enough to win, but still have more potential.

Great Oline play. As expected, DeCastro coming back made the whole line better, especially in the run game. Big shout out to Chuks. Looked great all day.

I know Hilton got beat for a TD, but he just keeps making plays. Him leaving as a FA will be tough to stomach.

Nelson needs to find the 2019 version of himself.

Watt is a monster and will eventually become the highest paid Defensive player in the NFL.

Tuitt really came to life on one drive. High potential, needs to keep that motor running hot.

Is it just me or has our kick coverage unit been the best it's ever been?

    Great to be 3-0.

The Good...160 plus yard rushing. Ben spread the field with 6 different receivers. JJ McCloud is gonna break.

Bad (nit picking as adjustments were made)..The numbers of 20 plus yard pass plays. 8-18 3rd down (better, but still to many 3rd and long).

Ugly...Not much, except that last TD drive to end the first half. Yes they made the adjustments, but all that momentum lost could really be trouble when facing a better team.

Good: 3-0. Ebron showing his worth and why he was signed. Conner, Juju, Okorafor, having DeCasro back, 2nd half adjustments. TJ Watt, when you need a play. Claypool getting involved. Ben settling in and showing why he is one of the top QB's in the league. Zero turnovers.

Bad: 1st half. It wasn't pretty and is why some were a little uncomfortable. AV. He is having his struggles as well at Fitzpatrick.

Ugly: Injuries to D Johnson and D Watt.

I would like to see better push from the D Line. I'm not as down on Steven Nelson as some are.

    Alright everyone, here I go!!

    The Good:

    Chukwuma Okorafor:

    This guy receives his own title! 4 tackles, 0 sacks, 0 hits, 0 QB Pressures. Against a future HOF player no less?! For a player who has started less than 7 games, one would think the stat line would be much worse. As I stated back in 2018, give this guy some time. 2019 was supposed to be a leap year but he needed surgery on that shoulder. Turns out that Shoulder Injury was really impeding him all along. That is now two top tier Titan Level Pass Rushers not touching Big Ben through two weeks! Best aspect about his game since he has started?! Grit and tenacity. Definitley saw more of that today; even removing JJ Watt out of the running plays on runs to his side. I expect Chuks to continue this against Jadeveon Clowney; another Titan Level Pass Rusher. While Clowney does not have the stats JJ Watt is, he does have the ability to disrupt plays at will. Cannot wait for the Nigerian native to take on the Number one pick. For that matter;

    "Nigerian Nightmare 2.0" anyone?!

    Terrell Edmunds:

Back to back impact plays in back to back weeks. First, the sack to end the Broncos game and then, a tackle that prevented DeShaun and the Texans from scoring early on in the First Quarter. Again, I did not hear his name called in pass coverage but for him, that is a good thing. Here is an interesting stat from Pro Football Reference; 0 Touchdowns given up. For those of you that remembers the 2018 NFL Draft Thread, I have been one of Terrell's biggest supporters. In 2019 though, he let me down with the lack of splash plays. This season though?! Major difference as he is finally beginning to scratch his immense potential. Let us hope he can continue his ascension next week.

    Devin Bush:

He was critiqued tremendously by many for his performances against Tight Ends in Weeks One and Two. This week, major improvement. Darren Fells did not see the End Zone once. Never mind that, Devin Bush did not allow Darren Fells to register a catch! While that was the biggest improvement for him this week, there was another major development brewing. His best trait and the best of any Linebacker from his class; blitz capability. For the first time this Season, Keith Butler finally allowed Bush to seek and destroy; a half a sack to his credit. While it is still too early, Keith Butler must give Bush more opportunities like this. Ryan Tannehill should be a good first step to do that. Should Bush become more of a disruptor like this week, he will be well on his way for a Pro Bowl berth.

    T.J Watt:

Say hello to the most complete Outside Linebacker in all of football; 4-3, 3-4 or otherwise. For that matter, say hello to one of the most complete Defensive Players in all of Football. As much as I would love to break down a full analysis on T.J., I think his impact speaks for itself. Never mind that, he won the "Watt Bowl" the same. No more need be said about that; him no less.

    Stephon Tuitt:

A healthy Stephon Tuitt is a dangerous one. One of the best Run Stuffing Interior Defensive Lineman in all of Football. Yet again, Tuitt was a force who could not be moved yet did plenty of moving. On top of that, add a sack to his game as well. The only major hurdle remaining for him is his motor. That has to stay red hot like Cameron Heyward. Should that happen, book him as a Top 5 Interior Defensive Lineman overall.

    Anthony McFarland:

Welcome to the NFL Rookie! That big play ability that was missing in the Running Game is back. Busting out a 20 yard gain is simply a sign of things to come. While his debut was short, it was sweet. For that matter, I expect to see more of him going forward over Jaylen Samuels.

    Mike Hilton:

What more does this guy need to do to warrant an extension?! Like seriously?! I was under the impression that, heading into the season, Minkah Fitzpatrick was going to run away with the MVP of the Steelers Secondary. That honor officially belongs to Hilton. Nevermind him being Pittsburghs best Defensive Back thus far either. Mike Hilton just may be arguably the best Defensive Back in the NFL. Only Jamal Adams, Tre'Davious White, and Stephon Gilmore would be higher on my list.

    Clean Game:

Well... not really. 2 Penalties is definitley not clean. However, compared to 10 last week, with the same Head Official in Shawn Smith no less, I will take it.

    Chase Claypool:

Yes, he did only register one catch again. However, unlike last week, Claypool was going more deep than he was the last week. Not only that, he continues to excel at Special Teams. I will not be surprised if he leads all Steelers players in Special Teams Tackles by seasons end. Just a special Football Player turning into a budding star. Watch for him to get even more snaps next week.

    Alex Highsmith:

I am sure that any remaining Rookie Jitters are gone now. He notched his first official Tackle For Loss of his young career. Not only did he accomplish this, his ability to set the edge has improved greatly since Week 1. While I am still waiting for that First Sack, this week, against the likes of DeShaun Watson, he is getting closer. Next week he should break through to get it.

    The Bad:

    Big Bens Deep Accuracy:

Yuck. Just yuck. One completed pass on six attempts?! I get that he is knocking off some rust but my goodness. That has to improve. Granted, we might just also be seeing the fact that Big Ben cannot sling it deep like he used to. I seriously hope it is rust though.

    Matt Feiler:

Again, another week, another sack given up. While Feilers Run Blocking is not to be questioned, his Pass Blocking leaves a lot to be desired thus far. Carlos Watkins got a clean shot on Big Ben much the way Mike Purcell of the Denver Broncos got a shot. Again, too early to throw Feiler to the wolves but this is now becoming a concern moving forward. Justin Simmons and Jadeveon Clowney are not cake walks either for next week.

    Officiating:

I am really not. This should be in "The Ugly" but it has become comical at this point. No more need be said about it.

    The Ugly:

    Injuries:

Diontae has a concussion. Derek Watt a hammy. Of the two, Derek Watt concerns me the most. Hamstring injuries are not something one should mess around with. What makes this doubly concerning is that Derek has never missed a game up until this point. As for Diontae, same goes for concussions. That said, even before the injuries, Diontae did not have his best day. Dare I say this was Diontaes worst outing as a Steeler.

M.I.A For Minkah! Raise the Level to DEFCON 3:

Three weeks and no Minkah sighting?! Worried?! Not entirely but getting a bit concerned here. Not just in the lack of Interceptions but the lack of splash overall. No Forced Fumbles to speak of, no TFLs to found, nothing. I get his primary function; a deadly Single High, Deep Centerfielding Safety who should not be tested. That said, while it is true QBs respect Minkah, Minkah has to go after those plays when they happen. Again, too few opportunities to go by but Minkah has to cash in.

    Steven Nelson:

Much like how I stated in the GameDay Thread, it appears that Steven has read into his own hype a bit too much. After only allowing two Touchdowns all season last year, he has already allowed 2 this season; Week 3 no less. The competition will not get any easier either as Corey Davis, Kalif Raymond and Adam Humphries all will test him. His continual lapses in coverage have been a problem thus far. Should this continue next week, I can imagine the "Start Cameron Sutton" rally to begin as well.

good: they seem to be building resiliency

bad: defense gives up 75 yards in 5 plays and 50 seconds to close the half, resulting in a Texans TD.. What if Houston got the ball to start the 2nd half?

ugly: the ease at which Houston moved down the field in the first half, at some point, Pitts will not be able to recover against better teams... glitz and glamour defense needs to channel its 60 minute men mantra

After not giving up no TDs in 2019, Nelson has given 2 already this season, there should be some concern.
