I did say I rode him hard and I also said I have made it a point to say when he played well. If you have followed my post you will see I have no problem with humble pie.

As for an Ohio st fan negative, I am not much of a college football fan. My kids like cuse and a few buddy’s I have out with at my campground are massive penn st fans. The last couple years I have watched a few penn st game due to that.

 

Sometimes a team just needs to get some points on the board, if your team goes for it on 4th down and fails that has to be deflating to a team.

 

I agree. It was weak. I'm far more concerned with the missed tackles.

 

I will take the tackles Devin Bush misses COLOSSALLY MORE than the tackles Devin White misses. That was my biggest issue of his coming out of LSU. Could he clean up those tackling woes?!?! Seems to me he still has not.



Furthermore, in Bush's defense, he just came back after messing up his ankle a bit. That is when those missed tackles occured. Using that ankle to drive and plant forward towards the ball carrier is essential when initiating contact for the tackle.



Devin Bush's missed tackles were definitely unfortunate but not something to worry about. He is still a tackling machine to me. He will get better as the Bye Week will provide him with the rest and recovery he needs.
