Tomlin - They won, but all the penalties made the game closer than it should have been.


The Ugly

Penalties, Penalties, Penalties - Fortunate to being playing the Browns today. Defensive penalties extended drives and overshadowed how well the defense played.

 

The good:

Penalties galore basically one sided

The ugly:
Losing tuitt potentially the season

 

I agree about Tuitt. That would be ugly.

The bad: Columbus dispatch group & WBNS 10Tv in Columbus removing themselves from all AT&T services. No uverse, no directv. Couldn't even watch the game in my favorite bars.

 

The Good: Brown, J.J. Watt, Chickillo
The Bad: Lack of help in the secondary at times. Communication and awareness has to get way better.
The Ugly: 13 penalty's for 144 yards. Haley's play calling, especially in the first half.

We saw a lot of rust and a lot of shooting ourselves in the foot this game but some good things too. I'm thinking we'll be just fine but it may take a couple of games to get up to full speed.

 

Good: Pass rush. sacks (from several positions ). Run D, Watt, Chickillo, Alaula, ANTONIO BROWN, Shazier (still plays too fast, aggressive), Jesse James

Bad: Martavis. Big Ben? The offense. We should have lit up Cleveland (we play anyone else in our schedule and we likely lose).


Ugly: LE'VEON BELL.

 

I agree with the pass rush being good. Ben was average, so he didn't deserve to be bad or ugly. I think Bell's effectiveness kept Ben from being better.
