The King of Pittsburgh is back. I'll worry about this Steelers mess in 4-5 months.

That's awesome! I didn't get a chance to watch the game last night, it would have been a good one!

Pens looked awesome and SC made his presence known. If they continue to play with him as they did without him there is a good chance they go far. They still have injuries and when they get back its all good. I never heard MS complaining about all the injures they had so far this year. He just kept winning with who was left.

Team is located in Pittsburgh. All the sports teams support each other. The Rooneys helped Pittsburgh get a hockey team. Crosby will go down as the greatest Pittsburgh athlete of all time.

Sorry I have a lot of respect for Sidney but Mario is greater.

Mine would be Mario, Roberto, Lambert, and Mr. Rogers. But my list of alternates would be longer than the three rivers.

Big picture, I agree. He won 2 cups. Saved the Pens. Without him we wouldn't have a hockey team, landed Crosby, and 3 more Championships.

Sucks his career was shortened but if we are talking strictly sports career.. It's Crosby. Maybe could have been Ben or Bradshaw if they weren't dickheads. Maybe Mean Joe Greene.

Crosby has been just so dominant and best player in the world for such a long time. It's clear as day without him 3 less Championships. You can't really say that about those Steelers teams stacked with HoFers.

Case in point, it was great seeing James Conner, Aaron Donald and Ryan Shazier all at the Pitt hoops game last night vs Louisville at the Pete. They lost in OT but are getting better.

Sid not only showed up in the post seasons, but he facilitated them. He makes the Pens viable year after year and makes the Pens effective through the long season grind as well as in the playoffs. Ben gave us years of regular season heroics, but wasn't enough to elevate the team when it counted. Crosby has done both. Obviously supporting cast has a lot to do with success, and coaching can't be discounted.

Ben was on pace but then his ego got to him. Crosby has taken hometown deals kind of like Brady. He's carried AHL'ers on his line and won Championships. I mean he carried the coaches son in law and got him paid. Crosby co-existed with another superstar, Malkin for the betterment of the team. Crosby is just lightyears ahead of Ben at this point.

Not to make this about hockey, but you're right. And he's unselfish, supportive, and just real. He makes everyone around him better, on game day and otherwise.

To be fair, as incredible as Ben has been over his career, he isn't nearly as talented as Crosby in his respective sport.

Crosby was known to be a game changer from the time he was in highschool, like Lebron. Ben went to Miami of Ohio and was the 3rd qb drafted in his round.
