Too bad they aren't the only preseason games. I love watching the NFL but way too many injuries are taking place in these meaningless games. Would love to see them cut the preseason down to 2 games only. I'm all for expanding the regular season at this point if that's what it has to come down to. I know injuries happen and it's part of the game but would rather see it happen with something on the line.

Is it the local coverage broadcast on NFL Network, or will NFL Network have their own play-by-play and color commentator? For the out of town fans, there is nothing like Bob Pompeani (Hopewell High School, Class of '78) delivering the play-by-play with Edmund Nelson providing the color. Nelson retired and Chuck Batch took over last year.

To the best of my recollection, almost all the preseason games I've seen on NFL Network aired the home team's broadcast. It might not always be the case, but I'd expect Bob and Chuck.

Not that I know of unless it's some kind of feed. The Steelers radio broadcast should be up when all else fails.

Dude that's awesome that your son is chaperoning you on your scout outing! Lol! If it makes u feel any better though Ben and AB are neither one playing. I know it's just preseason but still it scratches my itch a little to even see them in that setting.

The day we get NFL Network as a channel in the UK will be a happy day indeed. 999 channels available and they only use about 300. Plenty of space

Lions vs. Steelers was blacked out on my NFL Network channel. (DirecTV). I had to record the re-run to watch the game. Strange that the NFL is the richest pro sports league in the history of all intelligent civilizations in our universe... but yet they black out preseason games.
