    Why is offsides not reviewable? Because the Competition Committee did not want it to be. The same reason why they decided Pass interference would no longer be reviewable after it was for 1 season. Now, if you want to know why THEY thought it should not be reviewable then you would have to ask someone on the committee. They would be the only ones who know the answer to that question. Tomlin is on the committee, if you get a chance you could ask him or get a reporter to ask in your stead.

    I think it should be reviewable, personally, but most penalties are not and they are likely going to stick to that precedent.

    It’s based on the ball not relative position. When they’re running it looks like a backwards pass but it moved forward.

    Yeah, damn right. Offsides is reviewable in hockey, why not the NFL?
