NO!! I'm done with Hampton and maybe the Beard, and our corners playing 20 yards back from the line, it's time to get Heyword and McLendon in there, i find they move the O-line back when they're in there, Lebeau needs to move on

D will have an upgrade in some spots but we were still #1 and I can live with that. Insert a new LB or two and Heyward along with McLendon and we will cause more havoc in 2013

if Lebeau uses Heyward and McLendon more then I can live with that, but he's still in love with Hampton and it's hurting the team, they need to play more man to man coverage that's how you beat the elite qb's, give them nothing to throw at, but lebeau plays his guys too far back, and the D gets eaten alive 8 yards at a time

I don't understand the complaints against the defense????

Do people watch other NFL games and see other defenses getting shredded routinely. People here get upset if we give up a few 1st downs.

Those stats Myron posted show the D only giving up around 16 points per game and that included the many short fields that our O and ST gave them to try and defend.

There are so many teams with average or good offenses that would be tops of the league with our defense. If our O didn't go 3-out so much and our ST could actually cover the D would be even better.

The days of shutting opponents offenses completely down are over in this new NFL. There are so many ticky-tack PI calls it is not funny.
