The comedy of 2018

Stupidity is not far removed from comedy. This season (so far) has been a collection of comedy of errors. Here is the beginning of a list. I wish I could compile video snippets and either have a laugh track or some Benny Hill music as accompaniment.

• A tie with Cleveland????
• Every almost interception
• Two Steelers colliding in the end zone, preventing a sure interception, into the hands of a waiting opponent for a TD
• Ben’s dive into the end zone, bouncing off the butt of his lineman
• Boz’s kicks clanging off the upright
• Boz’s foot slipping and kicking the ball into the butt of a lineman
• Tomlin pouting on the sideline
• Switzer not fielding a free kick after a safety
• Ben’s lame duck interceptions
• Ben being intercepted by a lineman in the end zone
• All of Ben’s runs lumbering first downs
• Boz’s pass for a TD
• Vince stiff arms
• TE fumbling through the end zone for a touchback instead of a TD
• Missed offsides calls
• Three offsides calls in a row

i'll be honest, this season has been excruciating torture. Just need a certain team to win it all to put me out of my misery lol

 

Maybe in a few years I will be able to look back on this season and find comedy in it. Not today though.

 

Yeah we beat New England next week this message board will probably think we are Super Bowl bound.

 

There actually a YouTube channel that does a series called days of our Steelers.. Referencing to days of our lives. that's what this organization has been reduced to just a giant soap opera s*** fest.. Thanks Mike

• Tomlin throwing a challenge flag. Always funny.

 

I'd like to see A network TV special featuring Snoop Dogg, Leveon and Tomlin called, "Leaving the Burgh!!"

 

This season brings to mind an album title by a band called The Smashing Pumpkins:

"Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness"
