Well, might not be a big mystery to some but I haven’t heard this before.

This is inconsistent and bad coaching by Tomlin though, you discipline a player this harshly for a comment he made but don’t drop the hammer on DJ and Pickens for actually quitting on plays.

According to DK he wasn’t questioning the playcalling. He questioned why they even bothered to run a play.

That article lost credibility at “a good player”

He got a reprimand for saying something

He lost his starting position by being outplayed

    What is the difficulty

I can't wait for Chuks to get away from Pat Meyer and the Steelers and be the next Kevin Dotson.

I still thinks Chuks will some day make the ProBowl as a LT.

Chuks is now a Patriot, signed an hour ago.

Outplayed by who? Dan Moore? I still contend the Steelers would have been better off by benching Moore, inserting Jones at LT and continuing to ride with Chuks at RT.

Or he might have been benched because he kept getting dumb penalties and wasn’t playing well.

Perhaps his attitude led to a sooner benching, either way, it led to our promising rookie getting a shot. I was fine with it all.

No mention of the linked story being a Noah Strackbein joint?

Somebody must be in a partly sunny mood today.

    And another thing…….

Actually I’m not on Twitter so I can not see a lot

But if Noah is involved then he was using a 3rd persons material already

Yeah, that seems to be the question. I was never a huge fan of Okorafor's play, but it's hard to say whether a Miller/Jones tandem was necessarily better than Jones/Okorafor.

I agree with Blast's observation about the optics of benching him. I don't recall Tomlin ever confirming the reason was tied to Okarafor's comments, instead saying something about the offense needing a spark, but Okorafor told reports it was. If it wasn't and Tomlin chose to ignore clarification when asked, I think it a pretty tone deaf move.

Well, Twitter's now called X, but I know XXX is more your style.

I'll let Elon know he's moving in the right direction.

It’s typical Tomlin move. Different rules for different players but must not bother them since he still gets such high marks as a coach.

Sorry but that story pisses me off. Apparently they agreed that Canada sucked and also being punished for expressing frustration is bs.

He got outplayed by Zach Banner, Dan Moore, and then Broderick Jones. Who has Chuks outplayed?

Is this really a thread about the grand conspiracy to get rid of Chukwuma Okorafor?

Keeping Matt Canada around did a lot of damage.
They should have fired him around week 4 of the prior year. (I wouldn't have kept him after 2022)
Getting rid of him is a step in the right direction, but some damage is already done and the rules seem to only apply to some.
