I had read it before, and it made me realize how many things go on behind the scenes, that even the most devoted fans really have no clue about.
Things like "The News", that Tomlin initiated in his first year as coach, where players who mess up on game day, are called out during review of game tape, as in...
You don`t wanna be on "The News",
Or some of the Ping pong, pool, or other game competitions that go on in the locker room/ training facilities...
Some of these things make it onto the internet...
But it just leaves me wondering how much is going on, that we NEVER do see...
Would love to be a "fly on the wall", to see ALLL the inside stuff...
And you`re right, make no mistake, we are "in transition", when the people still left from 5 years ago, are less than a dozen players...
Fortunately for us, we seem to be in a state of constant "transition", rather than completely "re-building", every couple years!

 

i remember gary anderson being the racketball champ of the steelers. he beat them all.
