I watched this video and had tears in my eyes. Maybe I'm a fool but I'll never forget this era. Man, I love to watch this man run with a football in his hands.

Him and Ray Lewis slamming into each other then both bouncing back up and saying let's play was one of my favorite NFL moments.

The ultimate closer, Cowher had an amazing stat of an 11 point lead and not losing games, think it was one loss and one tie. Jerome Bettis was a huge part of that.

Liked him since his N.D. days.
    Loved his style of football.
Still a charismatic individual, football didn't ruin him. :thumbs up:

My favorite Bus moment was him running over Urlacher in the snow to score the TD.

Its yinzburgh has some really great videos on there. Sunday I watched one of Yancey Thigpen's 97 highlights and the Steelers vs Broncos in 97 where Kordell had 5 td's and just abused the Broncos defense. Watched one today og Greene and Woodson just abusing Kelly and the Bills on Monday night. I realized though in watching them that I have watched a heck of a lot of Steelers games since 92.

Anyone remember the fog game against New England where you could barely make out the players. I think it was a wild card game and Curtis Martin who was always a thorn in the Steelers side just went off. Terrible game to watch.

There was one video I watched earlier today was Ben and Harrison just abusing the Ravens. Deebo had basically the game of hs life and Ben threw for 5 td's. It was impressive.

Edit: I realized after the fact that i used abused quite liberally in this post. Must try to expand my vocabulary before the season.

One of my worst experiences was watching the Bus run rough shot over the Steelers at Anaheim Stadium CA when he was still a Ram. Was absolutely elated when he became a Steeler during the following Year's Draft Day. :thumbs up:

There is a beer fridge, 300 bottles of wine, 2 pinball machines, a massive stone fire place and a big screen. Does any of that count?

My favorite clip from the SB season was of that Chicago game with the swirling snow and the slow motion shots. But the best part was seeing the defense on the sideline warming by the Canon heater and Hoke says Ride the Bus. Ride him. Just gives my chills thinking about that season.

I've seen that vid multiple times now. I remember seeing the headlines of the trade when I was 14 and was stoked. He didn't disappoint.

People tend to remember the latter years in his career winning superbowls. What i remember is him lining up against 8 and 9 people on the box taking it right to them. He made defenders hurt after games.

Aside from how great he was as a player, he was an amazing person and teammate. He helped make Ben Roethlisberger the player he is today as he could lean on him in the beginning.

Not enough good things i can say about Jerome, and glad he finished out his career in the burgh.

The players of late should look to Hines, Bettis, Faneca, et al how to be a professional. Hines wasn't the fastest or most elusive but the guy brought 100 percent every week also catching passes most would drop being lead into safeties, etc. Not to mention Wards blocking ability which has to be up there with some of the best at his position in the game.

The character of the players back then was top notch. Too bad players like Brown and Bell didn't learn from them they'd be no doubt hall of famers, but I regress.
