    He legally placed a bet and they fired him? There must be a bit more to this story

    He made a tweet about it when he placed it, then an hour before the game he was supposedly fired and he tweeted good bye fans, lol. I dont know if the Browns, the radio affiliate, or the NFL has policy on betting..that is likely why he got canned.

    Putting 19 grand on the Browns shows a real lack of good judgement. For that alone, he should be fired regardless of NFL or team rules.

    They offer legalized gambling kiosks inside their stadium.

    In-person gambling is coming to Browns fans at FirstEnergy Stadium.

    I think Bernie will have an easy lawsuit on his hands.

    I don't know the rules, but just because it's legal for the public...doesn't make it legal for a organization.
    Same for a lot of things.

    Even though legal, seems it was a violation of NFL rules. Pretty straightforward if you ask me. Don't like it, go work somewhere else.

    Two of my bigger mistakes among many in judging incoming NFL talent: Baker Mayfly, I thought the years of suffering was over for Browns. (damn Bengals I was right on) and on our beloved Steelers, Devin Bushleague, I thought he was going to be big. I won't say the names I was comparing him to out of respect for their real talent.

    I went to the Browns message board after our win on Sunday to see what their fans were crying about. The funniest take was that they were complaining about how Pickett outplayed Watson. They were moaning about how they wrecked their future by trading for Watson and paying him 250 million. The Browns fans said that they would have been much better off by keeping their draft pick last year and drafting Kenny instead of screwing up their next decade with the Watson deal.

    Hell....

    Quite a bit of us were well aware that Watson was not going to do much come 2022. The fact that the Browns know very well they are stuck with him means 2023 better be a better year for them. Otherwise.... major decisions will have to be made.

    First they miss out on Ben, now they’ve missed out on Kenny! :lolol::lolol::lolol:
    :brownssuck::herewego!:

    Hopefully, Pickett can have comparable success to Ben against the Browns over the next decade or so.

    Hahahaha! They were whining about paying Watson 250 million when they could have had Kenny for 3 million for 5 years and had the better QB.
