Rogers offers more versatility than DHB. The people saying he couldn't go deep I bet were pleasantly surprised. Not that he excels at it but it's there. He drew a big PI penalty along with his 4 catches. Not bad for his first game in a year.

I like what Eli brings to the table, and I hope they keep using him underneath.

But that was a ticky-tack PI call, you have to admit. Not only was there no real foul, the ball was not catchable by Rogers. Although it was nice to actually get one going our way for a change.

I thnk you should go check it out a few more times. The guy not only used his arm to push Eli off course and towards the sidelines there was a grab at the end as well. The ball only landed a couple feet away from Eli even after his course had been altered significantly.

I'll be pleasantly surprised when he actually starts producing deep. He had not one catch over 20 yards last season and still doesn't.

I mean what do you want people to say when the guy doesn't have any catches over 20 yards? Facts are facts.

DHB can go deep all day. He isn’t going to catch the ball, but he can go deep.

What I meant by that was that they aren't afraid to give him opportunities other than being strictly a slot receiver and it was a pleasant surprise. I admitted that he doesn't excel in it but he does offer more versatility than someone who can only go deep. His versatility allows them to do other things as well such as using Switzer out of the backfield which gets him against LBs which is a plus.

We have saw before, last year what Rodgers could do. he can catch the ball and
can run after he catches it. Good ball player to have on your team. I like our WR corp.
    and really like #19
